Located in a spectacular Grade II* listed building in the heart of the city, the RWA is Bristol’s oldest art gallery bringing world-class visual art from around the world since 1844.

With beautifully constructed interiors filled with natural light, these 19th century galleries have housed works from the big names in British Art including Turner, Constable, Nash, and Grayson Perry. The building has recently completed a £4.5m transformation - opening up access for all and providing opportunities for everybody to get creative and feel inspired.

The RWA is opening its iconic Grade II* listed landing and balcony for exclusive evening hire as well as the smaller Kenny Gallery for more intimate events.

Whether you’re planning relaxed summer cocktails, a special celebration or a formal canapé reception, our impressive marble landing, overlooked by a breath-taking atrium and historic west-facing terrace, is the perfect setting to treat your clients, colleagues, friends and family.

The Kenny Gallery and 1st floor spaces are suitable for 20 to 60 guests and hire rates start from £675 + VAT.

Lovely historic building with attractive cafe. The annual open exhibition is very interesting and well presented. The art is also reasonably priced if anything takes your fancy.
