Had this experience gifted to me and my partner as part of a Virgin Experience. At first we were just going to skip this part of the Experience because we didn't think a river cruise would be our thing (we're 25) but we are so glad we did not miss it. It actually was really interesting, the boatmen did the commentary themselves rather than an automated guide, they made jokes so it was not boring, you can hop on and off as many times as you want between Westminster pier, Tower and Greenwich so you can explore. So nice to do in the summer on top deck - with no mask on which was nice! Would definitely recommend.GOOGLE REVIEW

It was a nice &long ride the guide was funny. The seats were quickly taken upstairs and inside as well. I suggest you queue early especially if you travel with family/friends and want to sit on the same row of chairs. If you want time to relax and see a bit of London from another point of view this is perfect. If the weather is nice this a way better way to go around than stuffy underground or stuck in traffic. (It was a cloudy day on a warm summer day and it was perfect)GOOGLE REVIEW

My heartfelt thanks to the lady in the booth who helped me out greatly when phone died with our tickets, thus unable to prove their existence - you saved my day. Cruise itself super, great commentary, views wonderful, toilets clean. Great experienceGOOGLE REVIEW

Our tour guide, Charlie, was amazing! He was both fun and funny and shared many stories about London (both modern and historical). He said he wasn't a professional tour guide, but his delivery and timing was perfect. I don't know if all of the City Cruises have live commentary as Charlie did offer to play the prerecorded tour. The journey from Westminster to Greenwich (the last stop) takes about 90 minutes as the boat goes slow and does make a few stops. But there are toilets and snacks on board. You can either sit inside or outside during the tour. I recommend doing a bit of internet research when buying tickets as I bought 2 unlimited rides, all day tickets for £20. I don't recommend buying them at the shop.GOOGLE REVIEW

I booked two tickets to travel from Westminster Pier to Tower Bridge Quay. Michael was an amazing tour guide (although he did say he wasn’t official and just a member of the boat crew). He made everyone feel safe and added some great commentary along the ride. Would definitely book again as we got a great view of either side of the Thames!GOOGLE REVIEW
