The White Onion is situated in the heart of Wimbledon Village and serves exquisite yet accessible contemporary French cuisine. We are collaborating with the award-winning neighbourhood restaurant The French Table in Surbiton and their Chef Patron Eric Guignard.
Available for up to 22 guests, we are able to create bespoke set menu for office meetings or private parties. Available for exclusive hire (not charged) Thursday – Sunday lunch and Tuesday to Saturday dinner, minimum spends apply.

3 stars for the food. We had cheese soup, squid, monkfish and lamb. The soup and lamb were really good. Unfortunately the squid and fish were not fresh, not sure if they bought on the same day. -1 star for the service. We didn’t know it opens at 7pm, so arrived a bit earlier. But the staff refused to let us in. It was very dark and cold outside. Of course the staff did nothing wrong, probably they were told to do so. But if they can let the customer in , even just sit at the bar without serving anything, it would be much better customer experience.
