I love travelling around the world and this hotel is definitely one of the best hotels I ever stayed. Staff so so kind, helpful, attentive to details, all of them. I stayed for 4 days. My double bedroom was clean, comfortable, room temperature controlled by myself, I felt like I was hugged by the bed when sleeping. Excelente bar and food. The gardens are quiet, peaceful and spacious. Very well cared for. I would go on and on.

Amazing Xmas break. We booked directly with the hotel on a 3 night package. We checked in on Christmas Eve and was tea and cakes and a singer providing entertainment. Later we had a 3 course dinner in the Riverside restaurant from a fixed menu, but there was a good choice and all the people in our group enjoyed the food. On Christmas Day we woke to a full English breakfast which had a good choice and was all kept fresh by the staff, after we went out for a walk, but because the time of year was a little muddy so we stuck to the B roads but very nice countryside around the hotel. Christmas Lunch was great, 4 courses all very well cooked and presented, lots of veg with the main we where all stuffed when we were done. In the afternoon there was a couple of little entertainment events, cakes and tea and coffee available, then a buffet for dinner. Boxing day was another great breakfast, we travelled into Kenilworth and Warwick both a very short drive away then back for dinner, this was a Gala dinner with a both the directly booked customers and coach parties. It was very well organised, food was good and the entertainment was great. The entire time we were there the staff were great, everyone made our stay enjoyable. If you are looking for a Xmas break I would definitely recommend going here.

We attended a function here and the service was fantastic. The team were extremely helpful and friendly and extremely efficient. The food was delicious and piping hot which can be a challenge when catering and delivering food to large groups but it was delicious. We had a bit of time in the afternoon so made use of the gym/pool area. This area could do with a refresh hence why I’ve given 4 stars and not 5.

Stayed for a family break whilst I was running nearby at the Park Run at the war memorial. We got a deal for 2 nights with some discount. Used the pool and ordered food. Breakfast was fabulous and I couldn't fault it. Pool was on the small side but warm and the kids loved it. I would stay again.

We booked as it was close to the castle, and the location didn't disappoint, but that was really the only positive. The main issue was the lack of sound proofing in the rooms, along with the fact that all of the room (and surrounding rooms) doors didn't close properly on their own and they had to be slammed to fully shut. This resulted in a very interrupted nights sleep as others in the corridor were up until after midnight and then up before 7am. The evening meal was okay, it wouldn't have been worth the expensive prices if we didn't have a voucher included in the room rate. The steak's could have done with more seasoning and drinks were expensive. The rooms are very dated and need a lot of work to be updated to 'modern' again. There were chunks of wood taken out of the doorframe and there was significant water damage on the walls too. Being a 4* hotel we also expected there to be toiletries provided, but there wasn't anything. Like the rooms, the 'spa' was dated and small, with only a few loungers, a small steam room and a pretty small pool. It was okay, but not what we expected at a 4* hotel & spa. Overall, we were disappointed by the stay and won't be booking again.
