Had a good time sampling some top notch beers here on Saturday 22nd May. Dead easy to find, roomy bar and cracking beers at very reasonable prices. Enjoyed sampling the full beer range, number 1 for me was the Decibel Porter, really rich, full bodied dark beer that tastes a lot stronger than it's 4.8% strength would suggest. The Phaser IPA was a close second, and surprisingly for me, the Quantum IPA a close 3rd (not bad considering I am not a fan of hazy beers). The Kosmic and Inertia were perfectly enjoyable, just closer to the mainstream IPA and lager experience. The beers are sold in 2/3 pints or a "paddle" of 3 x 1/3 pints, which is great as you get to try the range and find a favourite before the alcohol takes effect. My wife is not a beer fan, but found the guest cider very enjoyable. We didn't get as far as the gin, which was probably for the best at the time! Will definitely be back here again to get "Distorted".... happy beer-ing.
