The Montagu Arms Hotel is set in the picturesque and historic village of Beaulieu. The hotel is licensed for civil marriage and partnership ceremonies for up to 100 guests held in either our traditional Oakwood Room, with original parquet flooring, or our elegant Terrace Restaurant, with views over our pretty English garden. We can accommodate 100 people for your wedding breakfast in our 3 AA Rosette restaurant plus up to 130 guests for your evening reception. From the moment you arrive at the Montagu Arms Hotel you will receive our famous red carpet welcome. Your wedding day seamlessly unfolds with or experienced and discreet wedding team, providing outstanding service based on traditional English etiquette, leaving you to relax and enjoy your perfect day.
The quality of food at The Montagu Arms will ensure your weding is one your guests will talk about for years. Head chef and Roux scholar, Matt Tomkinson will personally plan your wedding breakfast menu with you to ensure you are delighted with every aspect. Matt has carefully selected all his food suppliers to guarentee the highest quality organic ingredients for your dishes. Matt also grows his own herbs and vegetables in his kitchen garden and has fresh eggs daily from his own chickens. After your perfect day, you and your wedding party can retire to one of our twenty two individually designed and elegantly appointed suites or bedrooms. Some of our suites and bedrooms enjoy views over the magnificient Beaulieu Palace Estate whilst others overlook our enchanting and much loved English county garden.

December 2023Wanted to take my boyfriend away for a last minute weekend away in the new forest, luckily stumbled across this place. We had an absolutely wonderful stay. Beautiful place with such lovely staff. We got upgraded to a lodge due to a last minute cancellation and it was unreal!!!! Use of the spa facilities at Carey’s manor was amazing as well - it’s about 10 minutes down the road; we went on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Cosiest bar area as well with a roaring fire. 100% would recommend to anyone.

February 2024I would like to recommend this beautiful hotel to anybody who visits the New Forest. Located in the Centre of Beaulieu, this warm welcoming hotel will not disappoint. The experience from start to finish was of the highest order from our welcoming through to our departure. We got the package which included breakfast where you could get either cooked or continental/ both, this was a great way to start both days. I cannot fault the rooms decor or onsite dining and it staying here gave me the feeling of being at a large cozy home. Although there is great walks and scenery at the Montagu arms, Another benefit to staying here included free use of the sister hotels facilities a few miles down the road which included a decent sized swimming pool, sauna & steam room. Overall, no complaints, and cannot wait to return in the near distant future.

March 2024We have been there for the wedding of our daughter end of February 2024. Everything has been fantastic and all the event; ceremony, dinner and party were at highest levels. I will certainly return in future for a few days of private holidays. Romain (de Luxembourg)
