Located some six miles east of the city centre, Blakesley Hall (Grade II* listed) is a delightfully restored timber-framed Elizabethan house set amidst idyllic grounds and with fine period interiors. Built in 1590 for Richard Smallbroke, Blakesley Hall provides a marvellous insight into the social aspirations of the Tudor middle-classes. The delightful grounds are a sight to behold throughout the seasons. With formal lawns, a traditional herb garden, an orchard and herbaceous borders, the site offers excellent opportunity for photographs. Modern gallery, barn & Great Hall available for hire.

Our 17th century barn offers a tranquil & traditional setting for parties and events. The space has original oak beams, flagstone floors and large barn doors that open up to provide wonderful views across the hall and gardens.

Would’ve gave zero if I had the chance to however since I can’t, I give one. The reason why I’ve gave one as you guys clearly can’t be bothered to update your opening/closing hours after the new year period. At least have some grace because you’ve just wasted our time as me and my partner have experienced the most stressful drive ever trying to get to this place to find out that it’s not even open, all of the fuel wasted too. Pathetic, update your opening times it’s really not that hard. “Confirmed by our business 8 weeks ago” online that the opening times are correct, grow up and have the decency to not lie.
