Patch Bar St Paul's, Main Bar

My fiancé and I chose Patch St Paul's to host our engagement party. We hosted approximately 120 guests and had exclusive use of our own bar, dance floor, seating area, cloak rooms and WCs. Everybody had such a fantastic time - the service was incredible. Holly was fantastic and instrumental in helping us to organise such a successful event. Patch provided pizzas for the guests which was thoroughly enjoyed. The drinks were flowing and the music system was brilliant. Thank you to Holly and all of the team at Patch for their help and support with such an important event!

Great Venue for the day and Holly was amazing involved in planning and organisation of the day. we had a team meeting and murder mystery for 30 people. Food was slightly late for our morning session but overall a great day and i would return for another event.

Disappointing Experience – Venue Cancelled My Husband’s 40th for a Wedding- Book with Caution. I booked The Patch London in St Paul’s for my husband’s 40th birthday. The venue itself looked lovely, and I was initially very happy with the service — I even booked a nearby hotel they recommended for myself and told I guests to book too. However, while I was on my way to my honeymoon, I received a causal email from them saying they had double-booked the date and had to cancel my event because a wedding had been scheduled instead. I was shocked, especially since I had confirmed the date multiple times in person with Andrew and Lara and was repeatedly assured that 1st November was free. They blamed a “system glitch,” which I found difficult to believe, as other venues later told me this sometimes happens when businesses prioritise higher-paying bookings. I had already paid suppliers, organised everything, and booked the hotel (£226) based on their recommendation — only to be left with six weeks to start all over again and no compensation for the inconvenience. They refunded my deposit and offered £250 bar spend (which doesn’t begin to cover the cost or stress caused), but refused to reimburse the hotel or even provide a proper apology on the phone. I tried calling several times for a courtesy conversation but never received a call back. It’s so disappointing that venues like this will get you to provide a deposit, sign a contract but there is no security for the client if the venue cancel for no fault of my own. They offered me another date but offering me another date couldn’t possibly work with 6 weeks to go & suppliers booked for the date I signed a contract for. Overall, I’d advise caution if you’re considering booking here. The venue may look great, but you can’t rely on them to honour your booking. It’s very disappointing to see such poor professionalism and lack of accountability from a London venue.
