Wonderful period hotel. So much character and ambience. Very friendly helpful staff, Matt showed us some areas of the hotel and gave us a brief history tour which was superb. Thanks 😊. Pizza was fresh and tasty at the bar. Breakfast was stupendous … few pounds gained 🤣😊. Sooo Much choice it was rude not to taste a bit of everything, whilst not been greedy of course ! Again waiters and waitresses very polite . Receptionists were great too as we were up in the eaves, my request but as we were there during the storm it was very noisy after 2 nights we had to move room which was very easy, no fuss. Did love our view up there though. Rooms clean. Only thing it now needs is a lick of paint and bit of grout. Also the gym facilities need to be reopened as disappointed I could not exercise to burn off my breakfast! Please reopened the gym and baths. Thanks for wonderful 3 days.

Amazing hotel with lots of character, rooms lovely. Whole hotel so clean and tidy. Nice bar if a bit pricey for soft drinks. Nightly entertainment, i dropped on a great singer and we had a fab night singing along and dancing. Staff all so friendly and helpful. Will be my go to hotel in blackpool from now on, worth paying that bit extra than 'brand' names just for the feel, atmosphere and welcome of this historic hotel.

I was at a ladies dinner night. The room was excellent . Perfect size. The tables were beautifully decorated. The staff were warm, welcoming, and very efficient. The food was delicious and piping hot. I thought the hotel itself was a little dated, but had a lovely feel to it. I didn't stay so can't comment on the rooms. Thank you for a lovely evening.

A once very grand hotel. Some bits could just do with a little renovation, but only superficial, nothing significant. The staff are just lovely and ensure that standards of care are maintained. Great location, very comfortable, a taste of how good things once were.

Only stayed one night, it was Saturday into Sunday with my 2 sisters and mother. There was evening entertainment with a female singer, which was good .The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were spacious. The hotel is of old style and large with Prime ministers having stayed there. The breakfast room is lovely and the hot breakfast was cooked well plenty cereal and jams yoghurt ,fruit. Overall, it was a good stay and would stay again . .
