Stayed for three nights bed and breakfast, on arrival was checked in by Tristan, very polite and capable, all went smoothly. Our room was a twin, small but very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very organised and plentiful lots of choices. Lovely bar and staff very cheerful and friendly. The hotel has various lounges which are quiet and roomy, lovely for an evening drink looking out on the sea front. Would definitely recommend 😁

If you’re looking for a newly renovated, chain-style hotel with no personality, this probably isn’t for you. But if you want to stay somewhere full of charm and character that captures the spirit of the Blackpool of old, then this hotel is perfect. The building is beautiful and grand, and while it may be a little dated, it is immaculately clean and very comfortable. The service was outstanding — the staff genuinely couldn’t have done more to make our stay enjoyable. Room service was also very reasonably priced, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. I can only assume the negative reviews come from guests expecting a Premier Inn–style experience, which this hotel is not trying to be. It’s a historic building, and that’s exactly what makes it special. If you want to feel like you’re truly staying in Blackpool, you’ll love it. The location is ideal, with a tram stop just outside and Blackpool town centre only a short walk away, making it easy to get around without needing a car. As with anywhere in Blackpool, there is some noise at night, which is to be expected in such a lively seaside town. It didn’t detract from our stay at all and is simply part of the authentic Blackpool experience. If you’re looking for complete silence, this may not be the place — but if you want atmosphere and character, it comes with the territory. It’s a wonderfully old-fashioned hotel — the kind I thought no longer existed. Staying here feels like stepping into a classic film from your youth: The Witches, Home Alone, or even something straight out of an Agatha Christie novel. A rare and nostalgic experience.

Had an overnight stay here a couple of weeks ago with my family consisting of 2 adults and 2 kids. We stayed in a family suite that was clean and tidy. Yes it was probably deemed old/dated but it was in character with the age of the building. The staff were all friendly and professional that we came into contact with. The gentleman called Chris who worked in the decadence was particularly pleasant. We opted for the evening meal which was all presented nicely and all meals were to a good standard. They were good value for money along with the breakfast in the morning. The evening entertainment was just off the hotel bar in a fabulous room with lots of original features. The singers were good enough to be entertained. There is also a games room with some arcade games and a pool table adjacent to the entertainment hall. Naturally, you have to pay to use them but it's a good facility to have when the kids are not fussed about the singers. All in all, an enjoyable stay and I would stop here again.

My experience of staying in imperial hotel was comfortable and pleasant. When I arrived, the check-in process was smooth and the staff were polite and welcoming. The hotel room was clean, spacious, and well-organised. The bed was comfortable. Overall, the hotel provided a safe, clean, and friendly atmosphere. The good customer service and comfortable accommodation made the stay enjoyable, and I would be happy to stay there again in the future.

Just back from all inclusive weekend January 2026 at The Imperial Blackpool. Food poor compared to others in the area. And evening meal menu same menu every night and limited if didnt want extras. One couple got charged £36 for extras on top of £50 paid. You could get a lot better for less. Charged for a lot of extras. Limited choice with no extra. Making it expensive for what you get. Small portions. Entertainment, no atmosphere. Its not that they were bad, only attended by 8 / 10 people each night. All inclusive 12 am up to 10pm. Advert implies entainment and dancing. There was no dancing to be had in a side room on carpet. Restaurant damp and dirty in parts. The heating vents filthy, damp peeling paint in the bays. Windows filthy. That said parts of decor nice in the lounge and reception area. Bedrooms a good size. Not good value for money. Most Staff pleasant. Location is good for a short walk into the centre. I would describe the hotel old and in need of repair. No atmosphere. Entertainment singers said its often like this and the side room for the entertainment used is too bright. Having to leave the room to get drinks. Also £14 per day for parking is expensive, more extras to pay. Would not recommend.
