So where is this hidden gem? From New Delhi… to Reading in Berkshire… Just minutes from London Heathrow Airport, London Paddington Station (the hotel is just 3 mins walk from Reading Station) and the M4 , Reading provides an easy alternative to the hustle and bustle (and cost!) of London. Reading isn’t always synonymous with words like unique, luxurious and elegant, but we guarantee you something distinctly un-Reading in this 19th century townhouse. We haven’t yet (it’s coming soon!) officially launched VenueScanner in Reading, but already have a few venues for you to explore.
The Forbury’s Eden Room, Cellar Dining Room or Library can be hired exclusively to host small conferences, business meetings, team building events or product launches, as well as unforgettable wedding ceremonies and receptions, intimate dinners (how will you choose between the pressed terrine of foie gras and cinnamon apples with port jelly or pan seared scallops with cauliflower puree and truffle cream?) and drinks parties and caters for all types of events between 4 and 50 guests. On top of that, there is also a Private Cinema available for business presentations, lectures, birthday parties or intimate private film screenings of up to 30 guests. Need to unwind? The Cerise Restaurant and Bar is elegant yet informal, ideal at the end of a long day. Need to stay the night? Take your pick from the 23 rooms and wake up with that private house feeling.
The Eden Room is the largest event space and was the original council chamber. Hand painted flowers cover the walls, décor is very vibrant and charming, illuminated by plenty of bright daylight. The space accommodates up to 60 guests for a standing reception. Getting a sense of the elegance now?
The Cellar is a permanent board room or dining room for up to 12 guests. It has a fantastic contemporary and modern feel with wooden flooring, luxury chairs that present you in the perfect position and a 52″ TV flat screen is fixed to the wall. Don’t fall asleep in the comfy chairs!
The Library has daylight spilling in through the lovely Georgian windows and benefits from the features of a stately home library including a cosy fireplace. All in all, this makes for a relaxed and distinguished setting for any corporate occasion for up to 30 guests. How very un-Reading!
The Cinema at the Forbury features the most advanced quality of sound and vision as well as hosting private screenings. The multi-function room can also play host to a wide range of events, product launches, corporate presentations and even weddings. Help yourself to popcorn!

The Royal Park also sits under this neat little brand of Roseate Hotels and offers stunning views over leafy Westbourne Terrace. This luxury boutique hotel comprises of three restored, mid-19th century, Grade II listed townhouses originally built in 1842 which still retains the grace and charm of its original Victorian architecture.
