About Venue
Located in The Brunswick Centre just off Russell Square, this historic arthouse cinema has been refurbished to the highest standards in both technology and design.
All screening rooms have Sony 4K projectors, and the main screen offers a Dolby Atmos sound system for a multidimensional cinema experience, making it the ideal location for film premieres and galas. The venue’s five screens are named after historic venues operated by Curzon since 1934, including the beloved Renoir, which is the largest theatre-style auditorium seating up to 150 people (including a separate VIP balcony). We also have more intimate screening rooms that can seat up to 30 people. There are bars on all three levels of the cinema. This includes a ground floor foyer with outdoor seating, which can be used for networking and drinks receptions, hosting parties of up to 150 people.
Incorporating a modernist design throughout, Curzon Bloomsbury is one of our most elegant venues.

Cinemas in central London can be hit and miss at best. But this one is a gem. A good selection of films, comfortable seating and a solid range of food and drink options for before and during the movie. There are ample restaurant choices nearby as well. Always enjoy visiting!!

An absolute favourite cinema. Small screens allow for lots of art house films. Brutalist Brunswick centre is an architectural favourite. Short walk from Saint Pancras for Thameslink trains. There is even a terrific Turkish restaurant two minutes away (Fig and Walnut)

I’ve watched films here but on this occasion I went in to find a quiet place to work on the laptop for a few hours. The traffic diversion stopped me getting to the British Library. The Curzon was a good substitute. The cafe is spacious with comfy seats. It wasn’t quiet though, the music was really good and I appreciate it along with a really good Americano and piece of lemon and lavender cake. It’s nice to come across different cakes beside the usual offer in most cafes. The WiFi was excellent and overall it’s a good place to work.

Lovely cinema with a great selection of indie and art films to choose from. The lounge area is stylish and comfy, but the screen room was pretty cramped with no leg room if you’re tallish; and there’s no place to store drinks so don’t order. I also thought the sound could have been louder, it was awkward to drink water, for example.
