About Venue
Located in The Brunswick Centre just off Russell Square, this historic arthouse cinema has been refurbished to the highest standards in both technology and design.
All screening rooms have Sony 4K projectors, and the main screen offers a Dolby Atmos sound system for a multidimensional cinema experience, making it the ideal location for film premieres and galas. The venue’s five screens are named after historic venues operated by Curzon since 1934, including the beloved Renoir, which is the largest theatre-style auditorium seating up to 150 people (including a separate VIP balcony). We also have more intimate screening rooms that can seat up to 30 people. There are bars on all three levels of the cinema. This includes a ground floor foyer with outdoor seating, which can be used for networking and drinks receptions, hosting parties of up to 150 people.
Incorporating a modernist design throughout, Curzon Bloomsbury is one of our most elegant venues.
The largest theatre-style auditorium (Renoir) seats up to 147 and includes a separate VIP balcony to make your event a unique experience.

I love this place. From the bold, grey, brutalist feel of the entire building, to the significant depths of the deep underground cinema space. A great venue for what it delivers, documentary, art house, alternative, popular movies.

One for new mums -- the staff here are wonderful. I stopped in needing somewhere to breastfeed, and they were incredibly accommodating. The staff on the door recommended a quiet spot downstairs for me to use, and the manager even checked in on me later to see if I needed anything. This kind of welcoming customer service goes a long way, especially given I wasn't even seeing a film that day. I'm a regular Curzon guest and have recently started taking my baby to their Curzon Baby Club showings (highly recommended!). Only drawback is there's no baby changing facilities at this location (but I've seen them at other Curzon cinemas!).

One of the cleanest cinema that I ever seen. Great value for the comfort of the seats and the excellent sound and picture quality. The atmosphere is fantastic, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the food is surprisingly good.

Very disappointing with this venue. Paid £18 to be seated in something that had as much legroom as a Ryanair plane. Not sure how they justify the premium price. I don’t really care about the reception and wait area. I want a nice seat for £18.
