The ABSOLUTE WORST venue I have ever been to. Saw Dr. Hook. They were brilliant, however the venue staff were not. Not allowed to stand up and dance, not even allowed to be on my phone as kept being told off by a member off staff, yet some people in other areas of the audience had their phones out and recorded the majority of the performance. Totally spoiled the experience not just for me, but for a lot of people sat around me too. Everyone was complaining to each other. I would never recommend this venue to anyone. If you want to go to a gig and pretend you're in an old people's home watching the local school kids sing hymns, then this is the place for you.

Nick Cave and Warren Ellis at the Bridgewater Hall Manchester. Can't praise the venue highly enough. The staff were polite, courteous and helpful and the sound in the venue is second to none I've experienced anywhere in this country. The Bridgwater Hall is Jewel in the Crown of the North West and is well worthy of patronage.

I went to see Nick Cave & Warren Ellis at the Bridgewater Hall on Sept 17th. The Oxford Road station is nearby, as are a number of hotels, bars, restaurants and clubs, and the St Peter's Square tram stop. The venue itself is easily accessible, staff are very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. For wheelchair users, or anyone else requiring it, there is plenty of accessible seating, and a member of staff will happily show you to your seat. The auditorium is lovely! I'll definitely be returning in future!

We went in to buy tickets for a concert in December but decided to stay for the 4pm concert today. Amazing Nimrod and Sibelius concert at just £10 each a real bargain. The BBC Philharmonic are tremendous every time we see and hear them

Excellent venue with brilliant acoustics. Seats could be more comfortable though and a slightly bigger rise on the stalls seats, if you're short and you get someone taller in front of you, it's a real problem... Another brilliant show from @CharlesEsten
