The modern and architecturally-innovative building combines a creative environment with high quality facilities and service to ensure you deliver a memorable event.

The magnificent Auditorium, with seating for over 1800 delegates, can be hired for a range of events, including AGMs, conferences, presentations, lectures and award ceremonies and has now been licensed for Wedding Ceremonies. Supported by beautiful foyer areas, speakers’ rooms, breakout spaces and Reception areas, it can provide the ideal option for a large-scale event.

For smaller conferences and functions, there are also a range of rooms suitable for anything from intimate meetings and away days, to conferences and exhibitions for up to 250 delegates. The stunning foyer spaces, with views over the city centre, are ideal for wine tastings, photoshoots and filming, as well as dinners, receptions, product launches and of course weddings.

The in-house Bars and Catering team offer an extensive range of options from simple buffets and breakfasts, to full banqueting menus and imaginative canapé solutions. All your audio visual needs are also catered for, with high-spec in-house technical equipment and an experienced technical team.

At the heart of The Bridgewater Hall lies the magnificent Auditorium. Modern and comfortable, the Auditorium offers tiered seating over four levels and a large open platform with built-in stage lifts for total flexibility.

The Auditorium can be hired as part of an exclusive Whole Facility rental, which includes en-suite changing rooms, warm up rooms and crew rooms, as well as the Front of House foyer spaces and smaller function rooms.

Depending on your perspective, the Bridgewater Hall is a great place to connect with your sole and reflect on past heart-felt moments of your life. Visitors can transcend into those nostalgic moments with powerful effects. However, it also forms new such moments that carry you forward. It will immortalise your own preciousness and that of the people dear to you. Contemplate what's important in your existence.

First time I attended a concert (Howard Jones)here. Acoustics were fabulous and I found the staff to be very professional and courteous. Thank you for making the night even more memorable.

Stunning concert hall. Acoustics are great in all the seats. You can normally get great deals on seats in the stalls. The attached photo is from about 2/3 of the way back in the stalls. They’re slightly tiered so you get a great view without anyone’s head in the way.

It’s a lovely venue. Probably not a bad seat in the house view-wise. We were up in the gods, and had some issues. It was almost unbearably hot with people having to strip down to base-layers and t-shirts. There isn’t enough leg room. The gaps between seats is narrow, uncomfortable for those with knee or hip issues. We saw a folk artist and found the volume just barely adequate. Final complaint - two glasses of Prosecco for £25? You’re having a laugh, right?
