Arrived in Edinburgh and went here off the train to meet my son. All food was lovely, but didn’t take many photos as we were to busy catching up. But….the Madeleines were the best I’ve ever eaten! 3 very large Madeleines, served warm and super buttery and delicious! Definitely worth eating dessert for! 🤩

Getting a table in Edinburgh on a Saturday night without a reservation is no easy feat. However, the staff took pity on us and went out of their way to accommodate. When the food arrived we were so glad they had! Great portion sizes, reasonable prices but best of all - delicious. Everyone of all ages was very happy

Nice food, good value for money for their 3-course weekday menu. The place can be quite busy sometimes and as we opted for a simple, straight-forward order, we did not need anything in between dishes or drinks, things were smooth in general; however, the entire experience was fairly robotic from ordering food, being served dish by dish and paying at the end. I hope the restaurant had been treating their staff well... just a bad vibe why they all looked unhappy...

My wife and I visited this place for breakfast. Overall, the food was decent and the service was great. But the food was less than expected in terms of presentation and being special enough so that you would want to have it again. As an example, compare the French Toast as advertised by the restaurant and as served. I certainly do not appreciate such a difference. The Pulled Pork sandwich was good, but again, basic. The highlight of our visit was probably the croissant.
