Lurking in deepest leafy Chiswick, the original Little Bird will have flown under many a discerning drinker’s radar, more’s the pity. Landing on SW11’s prime bar strip, owner Lorraine Angliss should win the brand more admirers with her follow-up lounge. As before, Robinson Crusoe beachcomber-chic that could easily veer towards tiki-tacky in less confident hands sets the World of Interiors-worthy tropical private island scene for stylish cocktails. Limber up with All That Jazz, a Bellini that calls for vodka, Aperol and orange bitters. Dip into well-judged classics - Aviation, Boulevardier (basically, a bourbon Negroni) and Clover Club. Surrender to sweet signatures - Strawberry and Rose Gin Fizz or Caledonian cobbler, Wisp in the Heathers (whisky, Grand Marnier, cinnamon, heather honey and orange juice). Largely affordable wines are what to order with Thai fish cakes; tuna sashimi ponzu and lime; pork dim sum; prawn green curry with sweet potatoes and grilled naan bread, or seared beef salad with cucumber and peanuts - mainstays of a menu that looks to Asia for inspiration and also offers chickpea and vegetable korma with toasted coconut among four dishes for those on meat and fish-free diets. Follow with pineapple carpaccio, coconut sorbet and harissa syrup or passionfruit cheesecake at this pretty new perch aimed more at urban peacocks and exotic birds than your average hen.

April 2024Amazing! The food and just were just perfect. Alannah took care of us from the moment we came in the door, right until we left. We 100% recommend and will definitely be back. One of the best stops in junction for wine, cocktails, or food, or all 3!

April 2024As I was passing the many establish of London, famished and dehydrated, it was then a local restaurant caught my eye, it was labelled “Little birds”, so with the last of my funds I decide it was time to gamble and try said place. immediately when entering I was greeted by a Lovely man labelled Joe, who greeted me in as if I belong here, already welcomed I was place on a seat with the most lovely view I could ask, it felt the feeling of royalty. When given the menu, I noticed it’s simple yet, diverse variety, the options, being suited for Any hungry fellow. I placed the order as the kind patient staff gave amazing recommendations and so on. Took less than 10 minutes till my dish arrived and fair to say, calling it beautiful would be underrating it. I would argue this may be the best money could by for anyone local to the area! If you haven’t tried it. What are you doing! What have you got to lose? Give little birds a shot. 15/10 (P.S. deserts are gorgeous, be sure to save space for your stomach)

June 2024Little Bird is easily one of my top favorite restaurants. I love their small plates, perfect for someone indecisive like me. The tapas-style Asian-Mediterranean food is consistently delicious and of the highest quality. The service is always friendly, and the interiors are simply stunning. I’ll definitely be returning again and again!

We enjoyed a range of sharing plates and particularly enjoyed the Butter Chicken Curry, Thai Red Fish Cakes & Falafel Tacos I will most definitely be returning as I enjoyed the food and ambience so much!! 👌 cocktails here are great too. Beautifully presented!
