The room was nice and large with comfy beds. Unfortunately, the telephone cable was broken and had to be reported. We went on a special deal which was very good and that was appreciated. The 4 stars for the room was for the insufficient signage around the whole complex. We were directed to the treatment rooms of the spa via the pool which meant we completely missed the spa reception! The meal in the grill was excellent and the deal breakfast and lunch really good.

For the second time, we had an amazing 2 night university reunion here. Beautiful resort, in stunning grounds. Evening functions very well organised by Harry in Conference Sales. Great food on both nights, and dietary requirements easily catered for. Friendly and helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble, and all our requests were honoured. Looking forward to another in the future.

I visited the health club on a friday afternoon and had a wonderful time with my friend, who is a member enjoying the spa and had a delicious lunch. They have upgraded the sauna since the last time i was there. Great facilities, relaxing afternoon. The front desk was really helpful. Gym machines are all working with ample space, and it wasn't as busy as i thought. Fantastic afternoon. I highly recommend the health club and club restaurant.

Would give 4.5. The gym was amazing and the staff in general very polite and helpful. Rooms were fine, quite old and old tvs etc. but still good quality. The food was very good, however, only one chef on when we there so took about 40 mins to get our food, however, it was very good. Find it very cheap that you can’t get a specific coffee at breakfast only filtered coffee. Apart from this it was very good

We had an excellent weekend here playing golf. Both courses provide a good challenge and the bar and restaurant facilities were good too. The best part was the staff. Without exception they were friendly and courteous throughout the weekend and really made a difference. I would suggest that the rooms need some investment, but they were nevertheless comfortable and I would definitely return.
