A very pleasant three day stay at Middletons. Our `Comfy` rooms were excellent and lacked for very little. The staff were all, very friendly and extremely helpful, which sadly, is a rarity these days! The range of items available at breakfast is very good and of a decent quality.

A gem of a hotel located a 5 minute walk from York City Centre. The staff went above and beyond for my wife as she was running the Yorkshire Marathon, arranging a runners breakfast of porridge for a few people before the dining area was even open. The standard rooms were a little on the small side, but very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a great choice available. Overall I would certainly stay here again and can highly recommend.

Lovely hotel. Perfectly placed for easy walking distance to York. Parking available which is ideal. Breakfasts are good and great selection. Room was great but bathroom needed upgrading, bath was a bit tired. Plenty of room. Clean bedding. Small fridge which was handy and fresh milk put in each day, nice touch. Staff really nice and helpful.

We know it's very difficult to cater for people for afternoon tea but as it wasn't over busy we could easily have been seated in the bar lounge instead of in the corner of the breakfast area with absolutely no atmosphere and not very welcoming to say the least. On a high note the staff were very helpful and courteous.

Fabulous stay in a comfy room. Spotlessly clean. Restaurant food good but not great, restaurant service standards not too good. Great location for walking to all attractions. Would definitely recommend.
