We stayed in a beautiful room for our one night stay. The decor was contemporary with Industrial touches. The room had everything you'd expect and some welcome additions such as a yoga mat. Even though we stayed on a busy weekend, the room was not too noisy and I slept well. Would like to visit again, perhaps on a weekday when the bar isn't so busy as the food offering looked interesting.

Much improved since last time I visited. Pizza’s are great as always, £1 beer if you join club market house for free. They’ve obviously invested in the gaming aspect which adds to the evening. Only £15 for the shuffle board for an hour which seems great value for money!

Decent bar. Nice staff. Food can be good too. In an old bank, and still has some of the old features, like the old vault. Definitely pretty inside. There's a couple of shuffleboard tables, foosball, pool and darts, as well as plenty of seating.

Great beer...Great atmosphere. Has a shuffle board and dart boards upstairs. The pizza is amazing. Didn't stay overnight so can't comment on rooms

In essence it's a handy place for street food or a drink in the town centre - it's a quirky venue and I like that there's the option of games, but the major turn-off is the volume of the music. I went there with some friends on a Thursday around 7pm as a meeting place and the music was so loud we had to yell at each other to make ourselves heard. It's really overwhelming (seriously, why does anyone want music so loud you can't hold a conversation!?) and we hurried to finish our drinks and leave before our heads exploded - two of our party didn't even buy a drink because they didn't want to stay any longer than necessary. It's a shame because it's a good location and has a nice selection of drinks, albeit they're expensive, and they've recently removed a lot of the seating to make space for the karaoke bar and a stage, so you're likely to have to stand. It's the kind of place I might well go more often if I didn't know I'd have a headache within five minutes of going in.
