Incredible positive experience! Room clean and well organized. I have asked for supplementary pillows and topper with no extra charge! The Breakfast was full of fresh food, organic and balanced (salty and sweets). All perfect

Great experience! Well located near the Earls Court stop & walkable to museums. The hotel & staff are wonderful. The room was quiet, clean, & perfect. They upgraded me & let me check in a little early which was very sweet of them. Would definitely come back.

Our experience at The Rockwell has sadly been tainted by our check in, or rather the room we were first assigned. When we booked the room via booking.com, it said that the room would feature a garden or city view. The room we were assigned was a lower ground / Souterrain room right next to the busy street. As far as we were able to see, the windows could not be opened and were intransparent, as a milky film was glued to them. For a Deluxe / Superior double room costing £150, we definitely had higher expectations. There was no information on booking.com that rooms were located on the lower ground. Otherwise, we would have messaged the property beforehand about our wishes. After a conversation with the receptionist, we were first told that a room of the same category was not available for the night and this was the only free room. A stay in this room would’ve been unacceptable for us due to personal reasons. We were then offered to stay in a regular double room on a higher floor and got a complementary breakfast as compensation for the higher price we had paid beforehand. The room itself was alright, but not four star quality. There were some issues with the TV and heating, which both did not properly work. The carpet was damaged in some places and the bedside lamps could not be turned on. In contrast, the restaurant / breakfast room was nice, as was the collection during breakfast. Even though our problem was solved in a way, our stay was not as satisfactory as we had expected. When you decide to book a room, make sure to include your wishes on garden versus city view!
