We were there for my niece's cake cutting and everything was perfect. Couldn't have asked for anything better. Was this hotel previously known as Moat house? If yes, 23 years this is where I spent my honeymoon in the honeymoon suite.

I have been staying at this hotel every week this year. The reception staff, breakfast staff and evening restaurant staff are all super welcoming and friendly. I am made to feel like a special guest every day. The only downside for me is the feather pillows which I find go flat during the night. I have to bring my own pillow every week to get a decent sleep.

We booked to stay here for 1 night through the Harry Potter. The hotel was lovely and the staff friendly and efficient. On arrival, we got a warm cookie. Small detail but I really appreciated it. The only small issue we had was paying £15 for parking on arrival (for 24 hours). On booking in, we were told this wasn't necessary and we would have had free parking as guests of the hotel. The signs outside don't indicate this and in fact state that you must enter your registration details and reception and tariffs apply. The sign should be clearer. However, overall enjoyed our stay.

Stayed here for 2 nights midweek in June. First off it’s not in the best place, However, it’s quite easy to reach. the exterior doesn’t look the best but it’s nothing to complain about. Inside is very nice and very clean! The drinks are abit on the pricer side but it’s not the worst. The rooms are also very nice, clean and spacious and the bathrooms are also. I will say I think some of the rooms need new windows but it’s really not a big deal. We did however have a problem with our key card on a few occasions and got locked out of our room. Lastly the breakfast selection was very good. The only thing they don’t have is a pool which is a shame. Overall I would recommend this hotel.
