Heavenly Recordings' bar, venue, club, events and cafe workspace in W1 The Social opened in 1999 and is an an award winning London institution. Designed back then by a partnership of David Adjaye and Will Russell (now of Pentagram) with the proviso of withstanding nuclear attack or – at the very least – the worst that people could chuck at it, The Social has launched over a million hugely successful hangovers.
Whether you're looking for a fun and stylish venue for a holiday gathering, a spot to hold a unique corporate product launch, or a location where you can entertain clients, the popular Basement Bar at the Social in the West End is the place to go. The bar itself has a unique personality of its own, with a relaxed feel, comfortable booths, and low lighting. The friendly staff is dedicated to providing your guests - up to 150 of them - with top-notch service. Live music from name bands or popular DJs is available to make your evening even more memorable.

My fave haunt for a unpretentious easy cosy night out. Warm and welcoming bartenders, hip DJs and excellent atmosphere, always.

Liked the place, looks very cosy and comfortable. Being honest, a little bit too loud near the bar. But in general enjoyed a drink ✨

A bar with mediocre cocktails is not a good bar. Over spiced margarita, washed out whisky sour, no tomato juice for a Bloody Mary and no olives for a dirty martini. A bar for a beer I guess. You have to shout at the person next to you to have a conversation because the music is too loud.
