For a place to stay close to central edinburgh at a reasonable cost then this is a good place to go. But to be honest breakfast was boring. Yes they offer a full Scottish breakfast but on there website they offer other breakfast options but they were no signs of this. The shower had mould round the edges. And the room we had was a standard double but felt more like I was in a compact room

Shabby chic but very comfortable. Honesty bar was very welcome at the end of the evening for a night cap! Bathroom in our room was tiny. Breakfast choices comprehensive and staff pleasant.

Very pleasant, helpful staff. Especially the young gentleman who serves afternoon tea and breakfast what an asset to the hotel. Rooms comfy and had everything we needed. Afternoon tea was good and breakfast freshly prepared individually. The hotel is a bit of a walk to the old town/shops etc but not too far. Would happily stat there again. Thank you

For a 3 star hotel, I was very impressed. The room was clean and cosy. It had everything we needed for a short weekend break. The breakfast which was included for us, was very nice with plenty of options available. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Could not fault it in any way!

Got a deal on the room that included breakfast, afternoon tea, late checkout and a choice of alcohol on arrival. On arrival our room was clean and tidy...Brucey bonus Milk tray on the bed! Not sure if all guest get this, but definitely a cute and appreciated thought. Staff are friendly, helpful and responsive to meet your needs and wants during your stay. In the room they have a qr code that you can scan and this shows you all the attractions within the city, which is great for any tourist that haven't made an agenda. The location of the hotel is perfect, parking across the way and central enough to get to all the sights, pubs and restaurants. Can not fault any part of the hotel!
