I was very impressed with the place. Wonderful staff, great service and delicious food. Room was very clean, bed was very comfortable, and it was quiet and I was able to sleep very soundly. Location wasn’t all that great if you didn’t have a vehicle, but the taxi service was great and we didn’t have any problems with getting into town and back to the hotel.

Very unique place near Aberdeen, a stunning property. We did a day visit by car for the spa. For the spa building , you can tell it is quite dated but well maintained. The grounds and sitting /relaxing areas are excellent. The changing rooms are well equipped. I'd suggest the corners in the changing booths to be cleaned a bit more thoroughly. The pool and facilities superb 👌🏼 I had a great visit.

We had booked a table for 6 today for my mother’s birthday and were not disappointed. The accomodations made for us and notice to detail did not go unnoticed. We had 2 people with a halal dietary requirement. Most places would give you fish or vegetarian options. Ardoe went to the effort of sourcing halal chicken for the coronation chicken sandwiches and made suitable sausage rolls. The young waiter was very friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much for him. The quality of all of the ingredients was very fresh including the bread. The flavours were well balanced and you all got your own pot of tea or coffee. The environment and atmosphere at Ardoe was high class. By far the best afternoon tea we’ve had and we’ve had a few. Thoroughly recommend.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable, and the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. The breakfast was excellent with a great variety to choose from. Getting around was also easy — catching a cab to the city was no problem at all. Overall, a great stay and I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Great venue in a beautiful setting. The staff are friendly and attentive. Rooms are large and have everything you need including a mini fridge. There was some staining to the walls, decor a little tired but the room was clean. The food in the restaurant was of a decent standard, with kids menu available (there are two restaurants, one without kids menu so check before booking). The buffet breakfast had all the usual suspects including wee tattie scones much to the kids delight. We used the pool which the kids enjoyed. Its just a rectangular pool, nothing fancy but it's very warm. We would definitely return.
