June 2025One night stay for an event. Room was very comfortable and quiet. Windows opened on to the lightwell which was perfect for me, as it meant I didn't have street noise to deal with. Breakfast, which i hadn't booked in advance, was excellent.

April 2025I stayed several times and it gets better every time! The breakfast has improved and has a great range of hot and cold food, the restaurant has an excellent selection, and the food is delicious. My bedroom was very quirky and quiet. The staff was very helpful in every way. The hotel has great location, and is clean.

May 2025We enjoyed our stay, good atmosphere, the floor in our room had a slope to it, but understandable with the age of the hotel. All of the staff were very helpful and so friendly. The hotel is right in the city and was easy to walk where we needed to go. We had a delicious dinner and breakfast with many options. Our room was quiet and comfortable, would stay again.

June 2025Overall stay was good. A large, spacious room which was clean and tidy. Bathroom was also good although the extractor fan was not working - this meant there was excess steam following the use of the shower/bath. The breakfast served was very good. The carpet in overused areas such as the corridors and staircases were worn out and need replacing as well as the staircases themselves as they dip in the centre part which are the areas frequently used.

April 2025The best thing about this hotel is its location. Right in the center of Aberdeen directly adjacent to the Gardens on Union Terrace. The room we were given cost £60. Although it was clean, it was very dated as was the bathroom. the radiator in the bathroom looked to have been leaking with a dodgy looking repair job carried out with yellow rubber and jubilee clip. The bed was comfy but the room was noisy hearing a lot of internal noise which wasn't ideal. The staff were pleasant. We bought breakfast for £12 each, this was the best part of the stay, it was really good with a great selection of hot and cold items. Overall the hotel looks way overdue a refurbishment. Ok for a 1 night stay, Travelodge across the road has more modern rooms for a cheaper price.
