About Venue
The Pasta Laboratory sits inside the Richmond Arms. A beautiful pub built-in 1791 in one of the longest unbroken Georgian terraces in Bath. The building was converted in 2022 into an event space for private parties, corporate events, and cooking classes at affordable costs. This is a fully licenced venue that caters to all occasions.
Fancy doing a pasta-making class? Would you rather have nibbles and drinks for a corporate event? Do you need to rent the rear room for a wine-tasting session? How about you take the whole building for a day and having pizza? We have space for up to 60 people standing or 50 seats.
We can cater for you or get one of our partners to provide the food that suits your taste. The Pasta Laboratory isn't a restaurant offering private hire, but rather a venue built with the correct layout for your group to eat together, and casually have a drink at the pub, in a cosy building with a fireplace and beautiful outside space. Contact Federico to discuss your needs, and he will be happy to offer you the best possible option.

I cannot recommend this highly enough! Federico was entertaining and extremely energetic and managed to impart a huge amount of knowledge in a fun way. He also gave personal advice to every person in the group so that each individual learnt to judge and adjust their own pasta making technique. The class was very interactive so everybody had the chance to ask any question and listen to the considered and often hilarious reply . You will not regret booking this!

Great place in the back of the Richmond that does pasta making and wine tasting experiences. We did a shorter combo of the two - made tagliatelle which we then cooked and had an option of two sauces. Plenty of wine along the way, and plenty of useful information on pasta making as well.
