Just downstairs we are privileged to have the three AA-rosette Olive Tree restaurant, in its own right one of Bath’s longest established independent restaurants.
Its high reputation and popularity, gained and nurtured over many years, is for relaxed fine dining in a contemporary British style. Our head chef Chris Cleghorn honed his skills under world-renowned Michelin Star chefs, and is tipped for one himself by The Times. His unique style – which showcases the finest seasonal ingredients from high-quality local producers – has won many awards, being cited most recently for: “Faultless service, serious cooking of prime ingredients and consistently high quality. We had an amazing 20th wedding anniversary at the Queensberry in Bath. The location is excellent with the Circus, the Crescent and the city centre all within 10 minutes walk. The service was exceptional and the staff were all wonderful to us. We only had breakfast in the Olive Tree restaurant (which was delicious) but the taster menu for dinner looked fantastic. We had a room at the very top of the hotel and the view was brilliant, the room was clean, a good size with a completely separate bathroom with rain shower and free standing bath. All in all The Queensberry is the hotel we would return to anytime we visit Bath.

Great location about a 10 minute walk to everything. Multistoried hotel with elevator. Rooms are a decent size and the bed and down pillows are comfortable. Not 5 stars for room only because there is no AC, but they have a nice fan in the room that works well and you can open windows. Quiet location with super accommodating staff. I am a bit needy when I travel so I ask a lot of hotels. They were helpful and friendly not bothered which is important. I even bought 3 hand lotions from them because the products were so good.

We loved this hotel. It's up the hill from the city center on a quiet street. The rooms are fantastic, as is the breakfast and the little bar with various sitting areas. We didn't eat dinner at the restaurant as we had two kids and it seemed a bit fancy for the whole family, but it was hopping every night (and based on the breakfast, I bet the dinner is great). Will stay here again the next time we return to Bath. One final note: The rooms do require walking up flights of stairs, often multiple. I believe there is a small elevator for those who do not wish to walk.

Amazing. Our room was lovely. Staff were lovely (thanks Noah in the bar). Perfectly located for everywhere. Lovely breakfast. I wish the walled garden had been promoted a little more as we didn't know it was there. Lovely free standing bath in our bathroom. Super fluffy towels. Lots of lovely little lounges to sit in and free tea/coffee and newspapers. I begrudge paying to park
