Congratulations on your engagement, and thank you so much for considering the Temple of Minerva and Botanical Gardens as your venue for one of the most special days of your lives together.
Set among winding paths, ornamental planting and rockeries lies the Temple of Minerva & Botanical Gardens.
The Temple of Minerva is a hidden gem that is located in a tranquil and peaceful setting of the Bath Botanical Gardens and is licensed for up to 35 guests for a seated civil ceremony. You can even open up the doors and with seating outside we can easily double your guest numbers!
Beside the Temple of Minerva, there is a lawn area which is perfect for a marquee if you’re looking to host a larger wedding celebration. The Botanical Gardens provide a truly magnificent backdrop for your wedding photos, as well as giving you plenty of wonderful photographic opportunities that are bound to create a magical wedding album.
From a practical perspective, The Temple of Minerva is heated, as a small kitchen, and is also fitted with a loo that has disabled access.

I photographed a wedding at The Temple of Minerva and just fell in love with the place. It’s tucked away in the Botanical Gardens, so it feels really peaceful and private – perfect for an intimate celebration. The setting is so beautiful and unique, and there’s just something really special about it. A little hidden gem in the heart of Bath!
