I had originally booked an executive room but the staff working said that he could upgrade us to a suite which we said yes to, gave us 4 complimentary drinks while we waited for the room upgrade aswell and walked us to the room when it was ready, I don’t catch the staff members name but he was an absolute sweetheart and such a funny bubbly person. The room was amazing and definitely worth the wait! Breakfast was good and the location was perfect. I would definitely come here again.

From the first moment we walked into the hotel, we were greeted by lovely, friendly staff. Our room was lovely. We had dinner in the restaurant one evening & the food was excellent. There was a great selection for breakfast, and it was delicious. We would highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Belfast.

Excellent facilities and helpful, friendly staff.

The rooms and bathrooms were of a good size. Staff were helpful and welcoming and breakfast was fine. However, the hotel is very tired looking inside. Carpets in rooms don't look clean - probably because of their age etc. It really does need an update. I've stayed in Clayton hotels in a couple of other locations and they have both looked much "higher-end" than this one

Since 11 August 2025, we have experienced several issues during our stay. On that date, we took the rubbish out of the room ourselves. I had to ring reception to request shampoo. Today, we were out all day and returned to find that there was not even any toilet paper in the room. In addition, the dispenser is very dirty. I also went to request drinking water — which is advertised as complimentary — but there was none available. Furthermore, could you please explain why the fork I brought from Dublin has been taken away? We also have no water again today, and there are no spoons to stir tea or coffee. Is there an ongoing problem we should be made aware of? While we appreciate the friendly and helpful attitude of the staff, we have unfortunately found the hotel to be quite rundown and not as clean as expected. The location is good, though we note that there is no on-site parking. We understand that this is part of the hotel chain where my husband works, and that we are paying guests. Nevertheless, we do expect at least a minimum standard of comfort and service. Kind regards

The staff was very nice but I feel need more training and help. The cleaning staff need to be replaced all together. as far as the room itself, we had no hot water in the morning and we had no water pressure at all. We thought it was just our room but my brother also had the same issue. He couldn't even take a shower. They bathroom could also use a couple simple wall hooks, this would help so much! Now this said, the price was not too expensive so I guess you get what you pay for. The lobby was nice but it stopped there as far as comfort or cleanliness.
