For over 30 years the ICC has provided a location that not only brings people together, but sparks real change. Our multi-level venue offers a choice of flexible halls and suites, and because we’re slap bang in the centre of Birmingham 90% of the UK can get to us within four hours. We also believe in building rewarding alliances based on trust, grounded by insight, yet positively fizzing with creativity. It’s how we make every event, whether that’s a meeting for two or conference for 3,000, truly ownable and memorable. And it’s the reason we deliver concrete results and leave every visitor feeling uniquely captivated.
From opening ceremonies and plenary sessions to car launches and keynote presentations, our impressive tiered auditorium makes it seriously easy to achieve serious stand out. The lower stalls can seat up to 600 delegates, so are ideal for events of any size, or for breakout sessions for larger events.
In terms of tech, Hall 1 includes an immense stage with a 28-metre high fly tower, 500-channel computerised stage lighting system and sophisticated audio equipment. As ever, full soundproofing is a given, as is the expert support of our in-house technical team. What’s more surprising is the fact the stage also offers direct vehicle access.

Very good for organizing events. I was there for a conference and the place is quite well organized. Everything is labelled and the staff is quite helpful in directing you towards the right rooms and halls. The location is ideal and central in the bull ring area.

Huge conference centre in heart of Birmingham city centre close to Broad St and Brindley Place hotels, restaurants and bars. 10-15 minutes walk from New St Station and Bull Ring shopping centre. Dozens of conference and exhibition spaces suited to audiences from a few dozen to several thousand people and a great venue for large scale multi-track educational conferences. Plenty of staff on hand to direct you but although accessible it hasn’t been designed with wheelchairs, buggies or heavy luggage in mind and is difficult to navigate. Large NCP car park nearby though many people park outside the city to avoid it. Birmingham has become the least car friendly city in the UK - its never-ending roadworks and empty bus lanes conspire that a 2 mile Uber took 25minutes one way and nearly an hour back in the rain. So booking a cheaper hotel on the other side of town didn’t save anything in the end.
