Tattu's private dining spaces can accommodate parties of up to 16 guests. And for those looking to host a larger event, Tattu's main restaurant can seat up to 150 guests for a seated dinner or 200 for a drinks and canapé reception. Overall, Tattu is an exceptional dining experience that seamlessly blends food, atmosphere, and design to create a truly memorable occasion.
Yin is the dark and introspective counterpart to the bright and outgoing Yang. It is linked with femininity, shadows, and water. At Tattu Birmingham, the main restaurant downstairs embodies the Yin element with its feminine finishes and intricate details. Salvaged cherry trees are brought back to life by hand to create a canopy of blossom throughout the space, while traditional wooden fretwork and carefully styled lighting cast shadows and create the effect of waterfalls down the granite walls.
This elegant and serene space is perfect for dining and unwinding, offering an intimate and sophisticated atmosphere. The large dining table can hold between 8-10 guests in a semi-private area, while the ambience of the main restaurant provides a calming and peaceful backdrop. Cancellation policy
We kindly ask that any cancellation to your reservation be made no less than 24 hours prior so that we can manage our services. For no-shows or late cancellations, you will be subject to a charge of £20 per person that will be applied to the credit card on file.
Other rules
Our tables are for a full dining experience only, bookings for desserts and drinks are not considered. We offer the following duration for dining reservations: Tables of 1 pax: 1.30 hours, Tables of 2 pax: 1.45 hours, Tables of 3 & 4 pax: 2 hours, Tables of 5 - 6: 2.30 hours and tables of 7-8: 2.45 hours from your booking time. We have a 15-minute grace period for all reservations from their booking time. If you are running more than 15 minutes late, the restaurant reserves the right to release your reservation. Please also note, if reservation numbers decrease dramatically with no prior notice given to the restaurant, the team reserves the right to obtain a £20 per person deposit in relation to our no-show fee. Please note our restaurants are currently operating a NO-CASH POLICY. If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 please refrain from visiting our restaurants until it is safe for you and your guests to do so. Please arrive at our restaurant in accordance with your booking time and please kindly wait until our reception is free from guests before entering. Please be aware that if you have pre-ordered drinks, these will arrive at your table once you have been seated. We will try to accommodate any table requests, but we are unable to guarantee a specific area of the restaurant. Allergens - Please notify us of any guests with dietary requirements/ allergies. Detailed information on the 14 legal allergens is available on request. We do not record information on any other allergens. Regrettably, we do not allow guests to bring cakes or other food into the venue due to this policy. Please note Tattu cannot guarantee our dishes are 100% free from traces. Dress code Policy - we operate a 'Smart Casual' dress code, no sportswear, loungewear, shorts or fancy dress, please. Please note - No decorations or balloons are allowed in the venue.

We had the most amazing experience at Tattu Birmingham! Megan was absolutely lush. She genuinely couldn’t do enough for us. She made our night feel really special. The food was insane. Every dish on the Emperor Menu was bursting with flavour and beautifully presented. We will definitely be returning very soon.

Came here for birthday lunch. Lovely team, professional and friendly. Every single dish we had was delicious. The prawn cracker was a little too spicy for me though. I’d like to mention the gentle man with the lovely afro who seated us and tall Byron who attended to us were both great! I’ll be back again 😁 Thank you team!

Gretel, was fantastic! She truly elevated our dinner. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the wine list and suggested a perfect pairing for the steak. She kept our drinks refilled without being intrusive, and the timing of the courses was flawless. She had a wonderful, cheerful attitude even though the restaurant was packed. Definitely ask for Gretel if you visit!"

We went to Tattu Birmingham on October 30 and we got the Emperor’s Choice between the two of us. It involved a set of starter, a set of mains and a dessert that our waitress mentioned contains most of Tattu’s signature dishes! The food was amazing, full of flavour and well presented! There were lots of options for drinks and seems to be a specially curated experience. Atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing. Service was exceptional! We had Vahbiz who was just excellent. She was attentive, friendly, charismatic and made sure we got all what we wanted and needed throughout the night! Would definitely recommend and at different times of the year as they seem to have seasonal dishes and drinks!

Fantastic experience! Adriana made us feel exceedingly welcome! Catering for a vegan and someone with a nut allergy is difficult and we are very grateful to her for kindly helping us navigate the menu safely. The food was incredibly tasty and the atmosphere was intimate and immersive. Highly recommended!
