This was the perfect location for our Doterra Business event. A beautiful, clean hotel. Comfortable room, warm in the cold spell we're having(mid Nov 2025). All staff were friendly and helpful including bar and restaurant staff who were all attentive and the housekeeping staff who we could approach and had courteous friendly assistance. The event venue was ideal, our tables were topped up with water, it was clean and general organisation was great. The hotel has a modern decor however the swimming pool, sauna, steam room and change rooms were dated. Hopefully that's next on the project list for updating as this hotel is the ideal location for events due to the easy access by road, air and train. I would highly recommend staying here whether it us for business or pleasure or even a shopping trip to Birmingham.

I first went to this hotel to use its leisure facilities, as I'm due to invest in a membership. I was greeted by Chris, who was so helpful, as were all of the other members. This place is a little oasis of lovely people, decent facilities, and a really welcoming feeling. The gym is well equipped, clean and well maintained, the pool is a perfect temperature, as are the steam and sauna. The staff, Chris, Gareth and Lisa, are a credit to this establishment. Then on the 5.10.2025, I decided to book a room for my Sons Birthday sleepover, on arrival, I was warmly welcomed by Kadrija, at reception, this wonderful lady, made the whole check in process, so straightforward. This was my first time using this hotel for an overnight stay. When I informed Kadrija, that it was my Sons Birthday, this lady went above and beyond to assist and ensure we had a fantastic stay. I booked my Son and his guests, a three course evening meal, the selection as well as the quality of food and ingredients, were impressive. The hotel suite was clean, spacious and it really did exceed our expectations, the bed, wow, I mean, it was like sleeping in the clouds. At breakfast, the server Ellesse, was soo attentive. I would highly recommend this beautiful establishment, the staff, really were what made our stay soo pleasurable.

Pleasant hotel to stay in. The rooms were very spacious even with connecting rooms. Bathrooms were of a good size and pretty clean. The only downside was no mini fridge and not much cupboard space. There is ample parking for £10 a night which is actually welcoming given some of the parking fees paid at other hotels. There is a bar onsite which serves a range of hot food and beverages. The pool is adequately heated to a decent temp and has a depth of 0.8m to 1.2m, very handy if you have little ones. To compliment the pool, the venue has sauna, steam room and a jacuzzi. The review lacks 1 star as the house keeping wasn't great.. they cleaned one room and not the other so had to keep chasing reception. Despite that, I think we would still stay again if ever in brum. There are a few restaurants about a 5min walk away as well. Lovely staff and hope to stay again.

Lovely place and easy to access the car park. But not sure why they charge you 10 gbp for something they own. I been with IHG for year and them car parks did not charge. The rooms are spacious but flaw is when you need contact reception or room service you can not get through to them. The safe in the room wouldn't work and they wanted to fix it at night which is too late as needed to use it way earlier. Receptio. Saod they were busy but they weren't as called and could see no one was checking in the call was ignored. I lole reviewing places due to followong it gets but this let the hotel down greatly. Swimmimg pools ok jakuzi not so great the button sits out side it you have to get out to press it. Overall its ok value for money

We arrived during a very heavy downpour. The parking area was dark and the lines designating spaces were impossible to see, which probably explains why cars were parked anywhere they could. We had to drive back onto the main road and go round the hotels one way system 3 times, though that was lost on some drivers who were coming in the opposite direction. Lighting is desperately needed! Reception was nice and during the 10 minutes we stood waiting, we saw a lot of it. Sadly, the single receptionist at 5pm was not very efficient. That was evident as she talked to herself in an attempt to remember what she was doing. We got our room keys and as we stood outside the door my wife commented there was a gale force wind coming under the door into the corridor. NB fire safety breach! We entered to find the curtains blowing and the window wide open. Any attempt to close the tilt/turn window failed, which I'm guessing is what the housekeeper discovered that morning but failed to report. Another trip to reception and a new room allocated. The room was fine though there were not enough coffee bags for 2 people (well there was 1 regular and 3 decaff I guess). We booked a taxi and ate out. On our return and getting ready for bed we discovered the "pillows". These were actually 2 square cushions each with a full pillowcase folded in to fit. The most bizarre pillows I've ever seen at 1ft square, but too late for another visit to reception. We decided against breakfast in the hotel at £17.95 plus coffee plus orange juice. It's a shame the hotel suggests a B&B option on their OTAs but the option to book is removed. It gives the false impression that breakfast is £10 not £18+. Car parking is £10. Would we return? Maybe if the price is right but not for dinner or breakfast. On leaving, we mentioned the strange pillows to reception and she was bemused too. Then another guest nearby stated they had issues with their pillows too.
