We have just finished our stay in the queens hotel and it was brilliant. I planned a surprise proposal to my girlfriend whilst we was here and they were so accommodating and even let our photographer into the hotel restaurant to hide while the proposal played out! They were all happy to help and in any way they could and gave us free glasses of Prosecco to congratulate us. The breakfast was very good too lots of options. Couldn’t recommend staying here enough and we thank the hotel for making our special occasion perfect!!

My sincere respect to the hotel staff for trying to treat everyone with dignity. The hotel staff are just like you and me, trying to do our best in a volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous world. Why do the hotel staff need to deal with some customers with respect while these same customers focus only on self at the expense of other customers and the team who have served them over their stay at the hotel? Why is it okay when a hotel team member tells customers trying to extend their stay that "we are fully booked" that the customer refuses to vacate the hotel with the consequence that some people who booked in April as part of a larger group celebrating a milestone birthday can't check in later in the day? Why is it okay that these same customers then sit in the bar telling the guests waiting for a room that they were given a room this morning when they were told the hotel is full?

We went as a group of 8. My mum has mobility issues so I know I was a bit anxious. However, we were well looked after and really enjoyed every moment. Valery, Sarah and Rachel were amazing. They made reasonable adjustments to meet our needs. The rooms were clean and so beautiful. The location is superb and literally on the beach doorstep. We highly recommend this spa!!

A lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was plentiful and a good range of buffet options. Would be nice to have a decent coffee on offer though not just instant. Room was comfortable, no problems with sleeping at all. The bathroom had a bath with shower head, which was fine but the surface of the bath was a bit slippery. Aircon worked really well. TV had lots of channels and the usual Smart TV apps so lots of options for viewing if needed. Room had a balcony which I couldn't use as the door was difficult to shut again on my own. Shame about the artificial grass! Had a lovely meal from room service one night. As a solo traveller I didn't like the location, the walk back from the town centre was a bit of a trek and uphill most of the way and in the evenings didn't feel safe so can highly recommend the taxi service. 10-15 min walk down into town and the same up to the train station. Sad that I didn't get chance to use the spa facilities. Overall not unhappy about my stay.

A nice hotel in a convenient location for Bournemouth. The Junior Suite we stated in was very nice and comfortable, with a little balcony to get some fresh air. The bar and restaurant areas were very nice with tasteful decor and a good range of food and drinks. We went for a midweek overnight getaway, with the intention to relax and use the pool and jacuzzi, but noone told us that the jacuzzi was out of action, which was disappointing. Our room hadn't been cleaned when we arrived at 3pm, so we were offered a free drink and told it would be 20 minutes. It took ages to get the drinks made and there were so many people involved, it was incredible! And then noone came to tell us the room was ready for us, so we had to go and find out for ourselves, which is a shame. A decent amount of parking on site, but it does cost unfortunately. And worth noting, things don't seem to feed through properly with bookings via Booking.com. Not only was our room not on the housekeeping arrivals list for cleaning that morning, we also got told we didn't have breakfast included when we did. It was quickly resolved but a little quirk that caused a but of frustration. Overall a nice place to stay and one of the more colourful and interesting hotels in Bournemouth. I'd go back!
