Our flexible banqueting suites are able to cater for small or large numbers, so your reception may be an intimate gathering of family and close friends, or something more lavish.
The Renaissance Ballroom can cater for up to 220 guests seated on oval tables, while the stunning Library Terrace and Noblesse suites are perfect for smaller receptions for 100 and 60 respectively. Our sea view Salon Prive, part of the Promenade, is ideal for an intimate wedding breakfast for up to 30 seated or 60 guests informal.
We are licensed for wedding ceremonies and civil partnerships on the Library Terrace for up to 100 guests, & in the Promenade lounge, perfect for 30 – 130 guests (sectioned areas). For larger events, our Renaissance Suite is also licensed to a maximum of 300 guests.

Cancellation policy
Should the Client cancel all or part of this booking, the hotel reserves the right to charge as per the Cancellation Terms detailed in article (20a.) which are fully enforceable, determined by the number of participants for your event, upon receipt of this signed contract If accommodation is required, on presentation of the Final rooming list, 14 days prior to arrival, all unnamed rooms will be released back to the hotel and cancellation charges will apply as above. If UK Government legislation at the time of event does not permit gatherings equivalent to the delegate numbers contracted and the hotel is closed/unable to provide the event, a refund of payments made will be issued and the event will be cancelled free of charge. If you choose to cancel the event due to the pandemic but there is no official government legislation in place stopping the event taking place, cancellation will be charged in line with standard T&Cs

Fabulous hotel. Clean large room with all the amenities you need. Very helpful reception. The evening bar had exceptional service from Anton. Prices for the drinks were good too. The morning breakfast was exceptional and a great choice. Will be very happy to stay again.

Thank you for a wonderful stay! Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. We were kindly upgraded to a sea view room as it was our Anniversary which made our stay even more special. The spa facilities and pool was good too, nice to pop down to the pool for a swim. Will definitely be returning to this lovely hotel.

Hotel is a little tired, aesthetically photographs warmer and more up to date but reads as quite cold and functional (like a higher class travel lodge or conference hotel). Nothing is luxe but it does the job for a well priced enough stay in a good location. A little noisy street side facing into the lanes but I was on floor 1, breakfast is costly at £18 a head for buffet style but guess in keeping. Bathroom is clean and functional but had water damaged doors from leaking shower spray. Beds and bedding comfortable. Staff efficient. Pool is small and highly chlorinated to the point it was cloudy. Sauna and steam tiny and can only seat about 4 adults. Gym looked well equipped. Fairly clean standard throughout.

I booked for New Year’s Eve, which is my wife’s birthday an executive suite which cost nearly £400 the The suite was extremely clean but very tired worn carpets and the heating wasn’t on. It was freezing cold when we arrived and it took a long time to warm up. I also arrange for flowers to be delivered and spoke to a member of staff. He said they would be putting in the room when we arrived. They weren’t in the room and I had to go and ask for them. The facilities of the hotel are very good, but I found the The service and the condition of the room not worth the amount of money I paid but think twice About going back

Came for a relaxing night and swim therapy for my heavily pregnant wife, even though we live only a couple of miles away, specifically to use the pool facilities. We arrived at approximately 6pm and were explicitly assured by staff that the pool would be open until 8pm. This was the deciding factor in us proceeding with the stay. However, the pool was closed around 35 minutes earlier than this, with no clear explanation. When we raised this at the front desk, different members of staff gave different answers and it became obvious that the information around pool opening hours was poorly managed internally. No one seemed to actually know what was going on. This was the entire reason for our stay. We booked specifically for a relaxing swim and some time to decompress, not just a room. As a result, we packed up and left barely two hours into the stay. It was a complete waste of time and money and extremely disappointing, especially given the circumstances of my wife’s pregnancy. I would appreciate a refund or appropriate compensation, as we were clearly misinformed and the core service we booked for was not available as promised.
