Love the quality of the rooms and decor since the refurbishment (especially the suite I had on my return stay). Location is great, very venue. Reception and restaurant staff very good. Bar area is nice but certain areas seem to get ignored by staff especially when a lot of afternoon teas are being served and priority is given to cleaning tables rather than serving waiting customers.

From the moment we arrived at The Grand Hotel, we were warmly greeted by the doorman a truly professional and welcoming gentleman. Check in was smooth with no queues, and we were quickly settled into our room. I had called ahead on the day to request an upgrade, and the hotel kindly accommodated us with a beautiful sea-view room, which made our 28th wedding anniversary extra special. My wife was absolutely thrilled. Later, we enjoyed some fantastic cocktails at the bar, and breakfast the next morning was excellent fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. This isn’t my first stay here, and it certainly won’t be my last. I highly recommend The Grand Hotel for both special occasions and relaxing getaways.

The Grand has always had an exceptional air of quality and that has been maintained to this day. The rooms are clean and very comfortable and have everything you need for a pleasant stay. But what really makes this hotel special is the staff. They are all friendly and pleasant and will go above and beyond to make your stay special and enjoyable. They always have a smile and are happy to be of service to you. I really enjoyed my two night stay and will definitely be staying there again in the near and distant future.

Booked an overnight stay and treated ourselves to a junior suite. The moment we arrived we were greeted to a warm welcome. Our room was ready early which was a bonus. Our room was modern, spacious, tastefully decorated with a balcony overlooking the sea. The super king bed was very comfortable. The breakfast had everything you could think, all the ingredients were high quality and delicious. It’s in a great location with everything just a few minutes walk away. Definitely the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Brighton.

Loved my stay here. Great room well appointed. Friendly efficient staff. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. Couple of things i would note : room service menu is very basic for such a top hotel. Also QR codes would not work on tv to access content. Also only 4 coffee pods in room….(i drink a lot of coffee.) I’m sure we would have got more if asked but perhaps a few more in room would be a good idea. Having said that, it was great that real milk is supplied in the mini fridge for coffee/tea!
