About Venue
One of Bristol’s most exceptional meeting and event venues, this boutique hotel and luxury spa is set in an architecturally stunning, Grade-II listed building, right in the heart of the city. The hotel features three impressive, flexible rooms for any meeting, conference or event up to 400 attendees.
The Sansovino is Bristol’s most impressive events space. Once the former banking hall of the Lloyds Bank building, this grand room hosts a magnificent skylight, with an opulent detailed ceiling, providing a spectacular backdrop to seat up to 300 guests for a diverse range of occasions; from weddings, award ceremonies and art exhibitions, to corporate functions and Christmas parties.
Renowned architect William Bruce Gingell is behind the design of the former Lloyds Bank building. Inspired by Sansovino’s 16th century Library of St Mark in the Piazzatta at Venice, The Sansovino Hall offers remarkable historical detail and an abundance of character.

Very central location, comfortable room, very good breakfast, pretty helpful and kind staff in the hotel and kitchen. Thanks to the cook for preparing some porridge on my request! Before my arrival I was informed that the Spa was not available on the dates of my stay, at the beginning I was a bit disappointed for that, but in the end, after solving the problem with the swimming pool, I was granted a free entrance as an apology for the trouble. The spa is cosy and very relaxing. Most places are at walking distance, many good restaurants nearby. Highly recommended.

Went today for afternoon tea. Lovely staff. Had to wait for the afternoon tea to arrive and because it was later than it should have been we were given a complimentary bottle of prosecco. Even though we didn't complain, just politely asked if it would soon be ready. What an amazing response for something that wasn't really a problem. Well done to The Harbour Hotel.

We had the absolute pleasure to celebrate our wedding at the Harbour Hotel and they quite literally blew us away! We were treated like royalty by every member of staff! The rooms are gorgeous and omg the beds were so comfy. They gave us a delicious breakfast both mornings we were there and they was absolutely no request that they could not handle. Our sax player cancelled last minute and one of the staff members even found us a last minute replacement! Special shout out to Emma, David and the entire events team who were just superb throughout the weekend. It was the best day of our lives and everyone single member of the Bristol Harbour team helped make that happen! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! ❤️

Divine hotel. Being greeted by the lovely Annabelle made us feel right at home. Perfect after a long coach journey. The beautifully decorated restaurant was spotless. Location is perfect + Bristol is very walkable. Room: Other reviews state rooms were small, I would advise going for the superior or deluxe options, as the price difference is modest and will be absolutely worth it. We stayed in the deluxe suite which it was generous for two people. Our room was facing the street and I didn't hear any noise. Spa: I had a nice chat with Nellie who was very accommodating at the spa reception. Steam, sauna, hydrotherapy pool and a spacious jacuzzi with 4 different settings - exactly what you need after a long day exploring the lively, eventful Bristol. I like how the spa doesn't get crowded because everyone books their slot. And finally... Lucy ensured a smooth checkout and kept our bags safe while we explored on our last day. Book directly - call the hotel. Kindness begets kindness.
