Cambridge Belfry hotel was spacious and clean, which is always extremely important for me when choosing hotels. The staff were very polite and courteous and a credit to the hotel. They had lots of parking available, including electric charging stations. The rooms do not provide air con but you can request a fan and they will provide one for you immediately. Overall a really nice place to stay, I would highly recommend this hotel to all and would definitely take the opportunity to stay again.

I have just eaten in the beautiful restaurant and I have to say there was nothing I would change. The staff were very attentive without fawning or being insincere. Our waiter was a young man name Toby and top marks go to him for his friendliness and attention to detail. He was outstanding which I am sadly finding is lacking in hospitality these days. Thank you for a lovely dining experience Toby! The food was delicious too. Beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. Looking forward to tomorrow!

Hotel is lovely and they made our stay extra special. It’s clean throughout and all staff, with the expecting of one lady at the spa desk, were super helpful and friendly. It was one of the better hotel meals we’ve had. Nicely presented, good portion and tasted delicious. TV size in the room we stayed was better than expected. I really liked the view of the lake from our room. Bed and pillows so comfy I didn’t want to leave. The only downside to our spa break was that the kids swimming lessons at pool from 2:30pm - 6:30pm which clashed on both days we would have used the pool. Using the pool was the one thing I was looking forward to most but we couldn’t spend more than an hour in total throughout our whole stay. Evening during our massages we could hear a lot of noise which was not relaxing. There was a lot of information provided when booking at in emails leading up to our break, but no mention of this. I would recommend this hotel, and would stay again, but would plan our days around the children’s swimming lessons. Free parking and not too far into Cambridge centre.

We stayed last night and honestly it's a lovely little hotel. Shame about the busy road nearby which kind of ruins the ambience by the lake. But the staff are very friendly and made us feel welcome. The room was a little hot as the windows don't open far and also one of the chairs had something smeared on it. But overall it was good. I'd say its more a 3 star hotel. Probably wouldn't stay again as it was expensive for what it was

I've stayed at The Belfry a few times, and while there are definite improvements—especially in the restaurant and service—some areas still need attention. The reception team were friendly, and the complimentary room upgrade was a lovely touch. The room was clean but felt dated, and the squeaky bed made sleep difficult. The restaurant was bright and welcoming, with great food and exceptional service across all meals. However, the spa experience was disappointing. Limited seating, a noisy pool area, and a lack of peaceful spaces made it hard to relax. That said, my facial with Lily was outstanding—highly recommend her! Overall, not a bad stay, but the spa facilities need a rethink if The Belfry wants to offer a true wellness experience. Looking forward to seeing if things improve on my next visit.
