Ideally located a short walk from the station, close to the city centre and just around the corner from buses to Cardiff Bay. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and quiet. All of our interactions with the staff were great, and they were very helpful storing our bags for us before we checked in and after we'd checked out. They also do a superb breakfast!

I had the luxury of staying at the Raddison Blu last night. What an outstanding hotel in every respect. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was excellent and the bed was super comfy - I slept like a baby. The breakfast was fantastic and plenty of choice. Centrally located, staff lovely, rooms excellent - what more could you want! The only negative is that I was only staying for 1 night - wished I could have stayed longer. If your looking for excellent value for money - look no further. I for one would definitely stay here again and again. Thank you for the most relaxing evening.

We had a lovely stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Cardiff. The staff were genuinely helpful and welcoming, which made a great first impression. Our room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet—even though it’s right next to the train station, we didn’t hear a thing at night! The location is excellent—just a short walk to the city centre, which made it easy to get around on foot. Parking was £25 for 24 hours, which felt a bit pricey, but it’s in line with other options in Cardiff city centre. We chose not to have breakfast at the hotel as we felt it was a bit overpriced for what was on offer, but overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider coming back.

The reception team seemed more involved in talking between themselves. The room was not a twin on arrival and the floor was sticky, they did come immediately to sort the room. We upgraded to an executive room, not really worth the extra cost, the room was small, the executive lounge had very limited options on wine (non-drinkable). On the Monday night we had hotel guests running up and down the corridor screaming and shouting till 1:30am. The breakfast was outstanding and the breakfast staff were friendly, kind and highly professional.

Let’s start with the positives. Staff were friendly, location was central and perfect. However, the room standard was poor. I paid £360 for two nights and was not best pleased with the state of the room. The carpets were not hoovered properly, stains on the pillowcase, rooms seemed neglected - needed ALOT of TLC, unpleasant smell. When I expressed disappointment with the room, the ladies at reception were great and promptly changed my room, and yes the room I was moved to was better, however the problems remained but muted. Sadly, I wouldn’t stay here again.
