Boasting three stunning function rooms, each licensed for civil ceremonies. The Park Suite opens out onto the Park Terrace with direct access to the Lilley Brook Lake, picturesque gazebo and the most spectacular views across the grounds and golf course; this is a truly beautiful setting for a few drinks with your guests.
The traditional and grand Garden Room is adorned with beautiful oak panels, chandeliers and two charming feature fireplaces - perfect for the smaller wedding reception or as a civil ceremony room prior to your reception. The Garden Room also has direct access to the terrace, ideal for celebration drinks.
The Royal Suite is self contained and offers a superb flexibility for differing day and evening numbers. Dividing into 5 seperate rooms, you can have separate areas for your bar, buffet and perhaps a quieter room with some cosy seating or have one large room to dine up to 100 people; the choice is yours.

I stayed there last night as the driver of a coach party and have nothing but praise about every aspect of this hotel. Staff were fantastically friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. Ample parking for the coach which is a rarity these days. Food was amazing for dinner and breakfast. Hopefully the tour company use this hotel again

The person checking us in went over hotel amenities and then how to get to room; mentioning there were several stairs. We asked if there was elevator. The answer was no. No offer of how to get assistance. Thankfully there were two staff members in hallway that kindly offered to help us down two stairwells which would have been very difficult for us. They also mentioned we should just call reception to get assistance when we leave. Why couldn't the person who checked us in have offered this?? At 5 in morning we were awakened by very loud footsteps overhead that went on and off for several hours, couldn't get back to sleep. We are so grateful, when we asked Anna if we could get moved since we are staying 4 nights and would like to sleep, she immediately made arrangements for a new room on upper floor. The staff in the bar are efficient but would expect a few more friendly smiles. Rooms with view are very nice. Breakfast nice, and staff there very friendly and helpful (totally hit or miss on friendliness!) Would come here again since good location. Just wish more of staff was helpful and friendly.

we came here for a one night spa retreat and we loved it! the welcome was warm and greater with a cookie which was lush! facilities are not huge but they all work and lovely! gym is small but there was everything i needed and free weights too. food was so amazing! we were served by Lewis for the evening meal and was so attentive we did wait for our starter for longer than others. which was not an issue we were not in a hurry but he gave us a free drink each for the trouble. the room was beautiful so big! and everything worked! the air con was brilliant considering how hot it was when we came. the massage was lovely and relaxing. the grounds themselves are beautiful we recommended this place to all our friends already.

A very nice Hotel in a very nice location. I drove to Gloucester each day and I was very surprised driving over the hills via Severn Springs and Birdlip as opposed to the main roads how quick my journey was. I had a cosy double room, bathroom with walk in shower, perfect. Downside not a lot of space to put your belongings. However Breakfast satisfactory, Bar food adequate and quite good, Restaurant very good. A very attractive Hotel, didn’t use the Gym, Pool or Health facilities. Overall a very pleasant stay and found all the staff friendly and very helpful.

Although we had our doubts about this (reading some of the reviews), and also on reaching the place, our stay got better as it went on and all in all we had a lovely and memorable stay. Few things to note: The photos on booking website (Agoda/booking.com) were not truly representative of the place. Bathrooms had been refurbished with the bath tubs removed (as opposed to some of the photos), which was a bit of a disappointment to my wife. We booked the Kings Suite Room hoping for better views but our room was placed towards the front of the hotel and all we had for a view was a solid wall. :( The rooms were also missing basic sanitaries but the staff was quite helpful in getting them to us when requested. The restaurant, bar and the spa definitely stood out and really made our stay worthwhile. The breakfast was delicious and generous. The staff always helpful, friendly and welcoming. Thank you 😊
