Amazing service, superb room with everything in it complimentary, including fresh Milk, Orange Juice and Chilled water. We had a room (314) and couldn't fault it. Not a complaint, breakfast was superb, but what I asked for was not what was delivered. Highly recommended.

A fantastic location, beautiful rooms and friendly staff, can all be expected at The Queens hotel. The hotel sits at the top of the best shopping street and bars in Cheltenham. There is also the very pretty park just outside the hotel. There is parking at £15 per night, very useful indeed. The rooms are spacious and quiet even with the night life going on around you. The suites are large and have huge beds in. The staff are always friendly and polite and can't do enough to be helpful. Breakfast was the only place I would mark down. The full English was all just a bit under cooked, limp hashbrowns and hard tomatoes. The continental could do with better breads and more interesting cheese. And maybe warm pastries. The hotel itself is clean and very well presented and styled.

A visit to 'The Queens' was to be a rare expensive treat for us and to begin with it didn't disappoint. We were seated in a conservatory annex which was lovely. The table service was excellent and the food not excellent, but I would say very good/ good. I have had better for less money. However, the whole experience was completely ruined when a large party of men were seated at a table behind us. I have never heard anything so loud in a restaurant. They had obviously already been drinking and I am not exaggerating in saying that they were literally shouting. I couldn't hear a word that any of my family were saying. We weren't alone in struggling because another table nearby commented to us on their way out. Do you really have to put up with this kind of disruption when you spend over £300? I certainly won't risk it again.
