Macdonald Craxton Wood Hotel, Exclusive Hire

We chose to have our wedding at Craxtonwood and everything went perfectly. Rebecca our wedding coordinator was an absolute dream. Nothing was too much. She was so chilled and it helped both me and the groom stay calm on the day. Not only was Rebecca great but all of the staff there on reception, behind the bar, serving our food and drink. Everyone was so great and friendly and kept telling us how all our guests were great and everything but they were the ones who were great! Everything went so smoothly I was not stressed planning anything. The food 10/10, the venue 10/10 and the staff 10/10. Just what you want. They met everything I asked for. Joe showed us to our room at the end of the night and he was there throughout the day and was just brilliant. Even at breakfast the next morning I asked for something that was not on the menu and it was no bother for them. Abbey served us and she was just absolutely fantastic. Such vibes throughout the whole experience I had a great time and wish we could do it all over again x

Had an amazing spa day here yesterday. The facilities are great (although a hot tub outside would be a nice addition) I had a massage from Charlotte W which was brilliant, I have had back pain for two weeks and today its gone and I feel so much less tension in my shoulders. The afternoon tea was lovely and the perfect size. The staff throughout the whole venue were brilliant, attentive and helpful. Will definitely be back again.

Had a really nice time here. The spa and spa staff where lovely, really enjoyed the facilities at the spa itself. However, I did find the hotel staff quite rude and unhelpful. The girl serving me and dinner was lovely, but the receptionist wasn't the nicest and I felt I was treated as an inconvenience. Overall nice and relaxing stay, but wasn't the warmest welcome. Would definitely recommend the spa, and the rooms and food was great x
