Radisson Blu Hotel Manchester Airport

I didn't have high expectations being the hotel in an airport. I've been to many and I find them needing updating and the cleanliness is lacking. I was pleasantly surprised how updated and clean it was. The food at the restaurant was excellent! Had the sea bass suggested by Anthony. The hostess, unfortunately I didn't get her name, she's originally from Poland, suggested the white chocolate mouse. I'm usually not a fan of white chocolate but, I would definitely order it again. Stanley made the best martini's. The first one was was delicious so I had a 2nd. This was one of the better meals I had during my trip during Europe. The location made my layover stress free. Don't hesitate to book this hotel. Just a bit of advice, this is a CASHLESS hotel so make sure you have a credit card. Luckily I prepaid my booking. My passport/wallet and credit cards was stolen in Italy two days prior.

Really convenient location, nice rooms, huge breakfast variety. Really enjoyed staying here. Breakfast was the best I've seen on my 2 week trip to multiple hotels all over the UK and Europe. Employees were really nice. Didn't hear any airport noise at all. Highly recommended!

This hotel is very convenient for the airport, which was the main reason we chose it. However, there were a few minor frustrations during our stay. Although we checked in online in advance, it still took longer than expected to collect our room key at reception. Once in the room, we found the refrigerator had been switched off at the wall, so it took a couple of hours to cool down. The bath/shower also felt dated and could use an upgrade. The ice machine on our floor was out of order, so we had to go four floors up to use another one. Unfortunately, there were no ice buckets available either in the room or at the machine, which made it inconvenient. Overall, while the location is great for airport access, the experience could be improved with better attention to basic amenities and maintenance.
