Lakeside Marquee

Walled Garden Marquee

Set within our secluded 2 acre walled garden with appropriate parking, Thornton Manor is one of the grandest North West wedding venues.

At Thornton Manor we cater for all cultures, whether it is Asian, Greek, Jewish, Chinese, African or Caribbean to name just a few. Civil ceremonies can be held in a number of locations, from the grand dining room to one of our garden pavilions. Beautifully decorated bedrooms are available in the Manor House for you and your guests. The perfect way to end your day. The Cottages and Mews situated in the grounds are ideal accommodation for your guests who wish to stay for one night or more.

The gardener's annex was cosy and homely with self check in service, the surrounding area is lovely and couldn't recommend a walk around the garden enough. For the price it's a lovely weekend out for a countryside walk or events nearby.

Me and my partner got married in Thornton Manor and the day was perfect. The staff were amazing, they were so helpful while we planned the wedding and couldn't have done more on the actual day. The location was fine but a little far from public transport which meant some guests relied on taxis to get there and then home later but that's a small price to pay for such an amazing venue and team of staff. The bridal Mews was lovely and included a jacuzzi. We would 100% recommend Thornton Manor for others looking to get married.
