Good hotel great pool and facilities. Breakfast was good if a little slow on service. As it's only 3 star there's no air con in rooms so we were very warm but rooms were clean and quiet.

Pleasant and reasonable accommodation, with a gym, pool and a Starbucks on site too. The staff on reception were extremely friendly, as were the staff in Starbucks. The food in the Bar & Grill is a little expensive for what it is, but it was tasty and cooked well. The bed in the room was extremely comfortable and the black out blind did its job too. The hotel is located well for the M67, with parking charged at £5 per day or free from 17:00 on Friday until 15:00 on Sunday, or if you have a Club Room. There are also IONITY EV chargers available. There is also a pleasant, secluded beer garden where I was able to enjoy my Starbucks in peace and have a read, before the bar opened at 12:00. All in all, a rather pleasant stay.

Firstly checking in was nice and easy. The room was easy to get to and was clean and fresh, nice big bed and shower. Facilities are good and welcomed when you need a chill. Food seems fine they take allergies seriously but probably 2 options for dairy free and one is a salad 🥗 Overall enjoyable and will return.

Staff were very friendly and professional. I believe the hotel has recently been refurbished and to be honest you can’t polish a turd, the area is not appealing at all. The rooms are small, sitting sideways on a toilet is not great plus for some reason there’s no fridge in the rooms which is always a let down. Pool and gym area were clean and well maintained but very busy. By far the most disappointing was the food, cheap ingredients not very well prepared. If your on business and just staying the one night then yes but other than that it’s a no from us.

I wouldn't recommend this gym or hotel to anyone. It's the worst one out of the village group hotels. I have a membership at this gym which I have to keep unfortunately paying until the end January so If you are thinking of joining I wouldn't. The facilities are so outdated, the pool looks and feels dirty, which might I add it says "heated" it is not its freezing its never been heated since I joined, I made a complaint within the first month of being here. The gym is so small you are fighting for equipment. There are much better gyms out there with much better equipment with a much lower price point. I don't mind paying the money if I receive what I pay for but I don't even think it's worth £20 pound a month let alone £55.00
