What a find this hotel was. High up on the coast with views across the Bristol Channel to Wales. Our room was large spacious and cool. No need for a fan. The sausages at breakfast are massive. Also some good outdoor drinking areas again with amazing views.

We stayed here for a family wedding, the weather was perfect which made the whole weekend perfect. Really nice breakfast in the morning to set you up for the day. Amazing views from the balcony looking over to South Wales.

For cyclists this is a fairly good stopover but they don;t really cater for bikes with storage in their hotel office. All the same bikes were secure. Food was mediocre but good enough. Room was a little tired but excellent view across the channel to Wales. Lady gave us early access to breakfast because we needed an early start which was helpful and appreciated.

This hotel is very old, and the rooms are dated. Our bathroom had A LOT of mold (in the toilet tank and on wall behind). The beds were very bouncy and rhe pillows were super thin and hard. Blow dryer didn't work. Staff was generally friendly but did seem annoyed when we had an issue with our toilet. View is beautiful if you get an ocean view room (but be aware is VERY windy on the sea and may be really loud). Very close to restaurants and the pier in Clevedon. Small parking lot with right spaces
