I'm reviewing based on both the Aqua spa and the afternoon tea! The spa is great. Very reasonable priced, given more than enough time to enjoy the facilities. They don't overcrowd the spa so that you aren't able to enjoy it. Lots of different areas to experience and relax in. Access to the pool which is great. Changing rooms are lovely. Offer lockers, costume dryers & hair dryers. Showers also have soap. Overall - great. Afternoon tea (best I've had). Sandwiches were lovely, scones were the best I had ever tasted. Perfect combination of fluffy but with a little crunch. I'm sure the jam was home made? Perfectly sweet and I don't like jam so that says a lot! Carrot cake pot was gorgeous, little caramel tort was delicious and the white chocolate/lemon fancie was stunning!! Presentation was great, customer service was very good and the servers kept our water and tea topped up!! Only points would be, probably another sandwhich? A lot more sweet then savoury options! I wasn't to keen on the rocky road but that's a preference I believe!! I've been twice now to do both and will be back again.

Just wanted to say a massive thank-you to all the teams who contributed to making my sons wedding a memorable day from start to finish. Special mention to Julie for supporting James and Leanne throughout the whole process and for all her support on the day. Also Kevin who also looked after us and nothing was too much trouble for him. Thanks also to the catering team as food, drinks and service were excellent throughout.( One little observation would be more toast with the pate as it didn't allow you to finish the delicious pate). Must also mention the breakfast team on Sunday who coped admirably when we all turned up at once for breakfast. Overall it was a very special day supported by all your teams from all departments. I would certainly recommend the China Fleet to anyone looking to book a wedding. Many thanks.

Absolutely fabulous. Ryder Cup Event. 44 golfers. One night 2 rounds of golf. Check in was seamless. Incredibly friendly girl on reception, nothing too much trouble. Bed, breakfast and evening meal included. Exceptional value for money. Accommodation fantastic. Booked Apartments and cottage. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and relaxing sitting room. Breakfast excellent. Selection of hot and cold choices. Evening meal huge portions with a great selection of starters, main and desserts. Served up efficiently by very friendly staff. Kevin communicated with me throughout. Nothing too much trouble. Tea and coffee after dinner and all in our own private room with a bar. Sports Lounge. Basically the club house. Is comfortable and relaxing with a view of hole 1. A good selection of bar food. I had the Bacon, Chicken and Avocado salad. Huge portion, well priced and tasty. Pro shop staff very friendly and accommodating. Liased prior to my visit and everything spot on. Our NTP and LD all branded in colour with Ryder Cup logos. All the staff I encountered were personable and knowledgeable. Ben Waters Golf and Estates Manager was incredibly helpful, from menu choices, rooming lists and booking the Crazy Golf ahead of our visit. Ben made a point of meeting me to check our visit had met expectations. TOTALLY EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS. The course was a real challenge. Kept you focused. Nothing easy. The greens are well watered and lush! If you had to force me to make a negative comment there is no outdoor area to enjoy a drink as a group. But not a deal breaker. The only disappointing thing from the weekend was the Europe win! 😁 highly highly recommend for any golfing group. Top notch.
