This is a perfectly situated 4 star hotel and the staff could not be more helpful, friendly and efficient. No idea why some people have been so negative.If air con wasn’t working, there are windows which open to a lovely breeze! We had a lovely time. The views from the cliff top walk are stunning.

Had a lovely stay at the Atlantic Hotel in Newquay. The rooms were beautifully done and the location was absolutely spot-on. Sadly, the food and coffee were a real letdown (definitely not up to the standard of the rest of the hotel). A great spot overall, just don’t come for the breakfast.

We stayed here for 3 nights for my birthday in July, our room was decent we ended up with a balcony and side sea view the only downside was our bathroom had a horrible smell sometimes unbearable. Lovely views from hotel and the spa and jacuzzi was nice I appreciate it’s an extra charge to use but its only £10 per person the whole stay so it really isn’t a big deal like some people have made out. The sad thing is the outside pool has such potential but the loungers are so old and rusty I really don’t understand why they haven’t just got new loungers! It really needs TLC in the outside pool area and I assume this is the reason there was rarely anyone up there during our stay.

My Partner booked the Atlantic as a Birthday Treat for me. 😍 Ideas really impressed with out Balcony Suite. Gorgeous room with fabulous views of the coast. Check in was great, really friendly receptionist. We also had a massage in the spa. The therapist was very thorough and the massage was wonderful. We had a drink and an afternoon tea in the champagne bar which was really nice. Dinner in the evening was delicious and the staff really chatty and friendly, especially Jacob the newbie. The only reason for dropping 1 ⭐️ is that it looks really tired on the outside. Could do with a lick of paint. And the Spa is very small with only 1 changing cubicle and nowhere to store your belongings. Definitely will revisit again.
