Pentre Mawr Country House

Stunning wedding venue!!!! We attended our sons wedding at Pentre Mawr and WOW what a day everyone had. Owners Bre and Graham are the most hard-working couple who are there for your every need without being in your face. The house and safari tents accommodation were great, all the mod cons and so comfy, my grandchildren particularly enjoyed the hot tub. We wish we could have stayed longer as we were on grandparent duties at the wedding we didnt get the chance to take the stunning grounds and facilities in, I imagine a soak in the hot tub with a glass of something fizzy would have been lovely. We recently got married at Pentre Mawr and could not have asked for a better day. The venue itself is spectacular with views across Denbigh, a Pinterest room for you to use any props and decorations to help, and a recommended suppliers list as long as your arm. The safari huts and cottage accommodation is fantastic and a real feature, every room has a hot tub or a luxury jacuzzi bath which went down great with all of our guests. Best of all you get the venue to yourselves for the entire weekend, on the Friday night we had a BBQ with our friends who were staying at the venue and some off site. It went down a storm and luckily the weather was perfect. The best part of Pentre Mawr is the support from Brie , Graham and Nina. Nina has been an absolute angel all throughout the planning (which was nearly 4 years in the making) no questions was daft, nothing was too big or too small to do and everything went to plan on the big day because of this. Brie and Graham own Pentre Mawr and couldn't have been more helpful, from our initial meeting if we weren't already sold on the venue Brie and Graham solidified this was the place for us. With how helpful their supplier list was , any request - even to have star wars characters walk me down the aisle - wasn't too much. When we arrived the tables were set up ready, breakfast hamper baskets and bottles of bubbly were in each guests room and we were treated with a drink while we set up the venue. On the wedding day , Brie and Graham ensured the day ran smoothly and had bacon butties lined up for us in the morning and a bottle of bubbly waiting for us in the room with a congratulations card at the end of the night. There were a few other surprises that made it extra special but I'll keep them to myself for when you book as that feeling of relief and how kind they have been willing be saved for you. Without a doubt Pentre Mawr is a wonderful venue, but the people that run it make it extra special. We will never forget how amazing our wedding day is and anyone getting married should definitely consider this fantastic place. From The Weavers 09.08.25

We honestly can’t put into words how amazing Bre, Graham, Nina & everyone else have been. Nina has been there every step of the way, helping with absolutely anything, in the crazy planning stage. Bre & Graham, we’ve never met more beautiful kind people, they have gone above and beyond for us and all our guests. Nothing was too much for them & if they could help with something then they would. Our wedding was absolutely perfect and it’s all down to these lovely people. Accommodation, absolutely perfect! Every guest LOVED everything about their accommodation. The safari tents were a firm favourite. The children (and adults) were in their element having a night in the safari tents. Even your fur babies are allowed to come to the venue 🥰 Pentre mawr is the most magical, beautiful, rustic country wedding venue, it’s a 10/10.
