We have just arrived back home today the 4th of June from a 3 day stay at wren nest. Me and my partner and our dog loved the place absolutely beautiful and relaxing the little touches were amazing. The owners dad very welcoming. We will definitely be back soon. Thank you Andrew&Gina 😊 xx

We have just returned from our second stay at Blakelow Farm in Fox Cottage, it will always hold a very special place for us as we got engaged at the bench at top of the hill last year 🥰 The accommodation itself is beautiful and luxurious, with amazing views! The welcome hamper which included things such as fresh eggs, bread, milk and chocolate is also a lovely treat! Perfect if you are bringing a doggy too 😊 There are loads of lovely walks right on the door step and also a short drive away. Some of our highlights (and there were many!) were Lud’s Church, exploring all the cute villages, Mam Tor, walking to bank top cafe for brunch (about 30 min walk from the accommodation) & pizza at Thornbridge Brewery! We’re already looking forward to returning for many more years to come!

Absolute gem. Wren Nest is furnished to a very high standard. The hosts have thought of everything to ensure a very comfortable stay. From thick towels, nespresso pods for the coffee machine and every utensil you would require in the kitchen to name a few. The cottage is in a perfect location for walks and visiting surrounding areas. The area is very quiet and tranquil. A lovely welcome hamper greets you with fresh eggs from the roaming chickens, along with chicken feed in the cottage should you wish to feed them. We don’t usually return to the same place, but this has exceeded our expectations and certainly will be returning. The neighbouring Fox cottage mirrors Wren nest in every way, only difference is it’s sleeps 4.

Me and my partner had the most memorable stay at Blakelow Farm. When we arrived, Andy came and greeted us and showed us around. We were blown away at the location and how beautiful the farm was. The accommodation itself (The Wildings) was perfect and had everything we needed for a long weekend away. We loved how peaceful and tranquil it was and how we could just embrace nature. The chickens were awesome. We got to feed them, and it was really cool that they were free to roam and didn’t bother us in the slightest. They actually enhanced our stay. We also had visits from the cats, which for us was great as we are cat lovers. There genuinely nothing negative I can say about our stay as we had the best and most relaxing weekend. We never go back to the same place, however we would 100% come back here without hesitation.

We had the most wonderful stay at Wren Nest Cottage at Blakelow Farm. Everything about it radiated comfort, elegance, and peaceful charm. The cottage was beautifully styled and immaculate – truly luxurious, yet so welcoming. It was perfect for our family of three, and we especially loved how included our dog was – thoughtful touches made it clear that four-legged guests are just as welcome. The surroundings were breathtaking, the atmosphere serene, and every detail was clearly thought through with care. We couldn’t fault a thing – it’s one of the best stays we’ve ever had, and we can’t wait to return. A true hidden gem in the Peak District. Highly, highly recommend.
